Losing Joe is probably the most disappointed/disillussioned I've ever been at losing a player. Tied with losing Wanganeen perhaps.

A couple of years ago would have been the last player I would have thought would walk, but no doubt the last 3 years has effected him a probably more than any of us realise.

His career's been so up and down the last few years, and with him asking to move 12 months ago I think I've come to terms with it.

I think I'll be more disappointed if he plays really well at Brisbane, not because I wish him any ill, but because it'll remind me of what could've been. I hope he does ok up there and everything comes together for him and he has some success, but for my own selfish sake I hope he doesn't quite become a superstar.
