This is a simplistic question. The club has been in a state of mistake for about 8 years. It's not the mishandling of one player. And on top of that, did we handle Joe's OP correctly? Doesn't look like it. We also bungled his trade to Sydney which should have happened. And now, his leg is finally better, and he is with the flag favourites.

It's the stinkin' shits, dude.

It's the same as the Smack thing. As a supporter base we need to start realising it's not Saad, Smack, Joe etc with the issues. It's the club

Given he lied to the club initially about how much pain he was in and also didn't do the rehab he was supposed the first time I'd say that's a long bow to draw. Have we been great over the pat 8 years? No, the post saga period has been shithouse. We do finally seem to be making some moves to correct that, to say that his leaving is all on the club is disingenuous IMHO. He left to pursue success, no issue with that, but lets not pretend he was forced out the door.

Have a read of the last two pages of the thread. But it's not ALL on the club. SAGA + OP, no matter who's fault, I would want a fresh start too.

He is a once in a generation talent. Why would he want to stay at Essendon because he is a Daniher? If anything it's probably another thing that he wanted to disassociate from.

If you're a Daniher fan then you will want to see him do well.
