Surely relegated to vfl and injury cover now. Its clear we aren't close this year, and there are plenty of experienced heads in the backline to guide the young guys. No point having him out there to get smashed and then retire in a year. Every game he plays is a game of wasted development in Miller.

Disagree. He gave King a bath until we gave up in the last and their midfield walked it inside 50. Even if we don't play finals he'll be great for Gibcus and Miller when he plays to learn off.

How's Miller meant to play when we have a list clogger like him keeping him out every week.

Tarrant only purpose was an experienced body if we were challenging. Its clear thats not the case, so why waste 30-40 games on him leaving Miller to come in at 24 with under 10 games experience.

Shake his hand, say thanks it was worth a shot, and ship him out.

Well grimes will be out for at least 2 games, maybe 3 or 4. Hes already played 1. Miller needs to make it impossible to drop him.

Personally I don't think Miller will ever be afl quality.

I was at the game, King couldn't get a kick to save himself for 3 qtrs because Tarrant gave him a bath. Then when grimes went off adjustments were made and Gibcus went to King in the last qtr and King took him to the cleaners. But can't expect much from an 18-year old/3 gamer playing on King.

No love for broad and grimes?
Sorry mate I should've clarified.
Was talking in the context of Grimes being injured
And Broad as much as I love him isn't exactly the player you want taking the oppositions 'gorrila' forward

with grimes injured id play tarrant. but fully fit id play miller, gibcus, grimes, broad with tarrant as the next one in. nothing against tarrant as a player, but if we arent winning the flag then its pointless wasting development years on him. either miller plays so he can develop/we see if he can make it, or what was the point of keeping him in the first place?

Who says Miller is even up to it. If Miller's any good he'll dominate in magoos and force the selectors hand. Has he done that no he hasn't/ Ya pick ya best team no matter what and Tarrant has killed it for majority of the 3 games thus far.

Because he is there not just to play, which he does well, but also to be a playing coach like Grimes Rance and Astbury used to be for the kids

2 of kings last Q goals were on gibbo for some bloody reason, Tarrant wasn’t the problem
That’s where the coach had shocker.
needed to swing balta back to defence, but sat on his arse and did nothing.

Thought Bigoa was easily more impressive than Miller in the VFL. By seasons end he should be improve quite a lot also. Miller did very little. Having said that it was a crap day for footy at Sandy, so hard for anyone to impressive.
