And I hope he finally proves me wrong just like BEllis did for the whole of so games b4 he shit the bed again . In Lennon's defence he hasn't been gifted as many chances.

BEllis I thought was solid again against Sydney. Had a couple of brain fades, but I'm willing to forgive that if he continues at the level he has been at.

Even Marty McGrath has a highlight package. Irrelevant unless you can play at the level consistently.

Which is what he has been doing.
The video shows he actually has a solid turn of foot. Not everyone could reach that spoil or let alone have the stones to go for it.
Give credit where it's due. That's all I ask.

Seriously mate a single act like that is not why he should get a game . If this was the case then Morris would be first picked.

I'm not saying that single act gets him a game. I'm saying that single act shows he actually isn't a turtle and isn't mentally weak like some think.
His body of work in the VFL this season is more than enough to get him a game.

At VFL level he's doing ok , but it's that jump up in class the issue

How are we ever going to find out if we don't play him for long enough so he actually has a fighting chance?

We've got a twenty game sample pool over four years as evidence, but I would be happy for him to have another crack just to ensure we don't let out the next Peter Matera to the Northern Blues.

That's all I'm asking for.

I don't think people realise how good he can be.

Castagna is not a player, Short is very limited. Lambert, don't get me started.

Lennon is an actual jet.

Let's see him launch.

Agree he has loads of talent, that was more my point. He should be a player.

But Castagna, Short, Lambert seem to want it more.

Not enough run both ways . At the next level is also easily defensively snubbed up forward. Could he play abother position. we have seen him 20 times now andI have seen him abpuy 10 at VFL level, sorry to say it os where he belongs.

Not the point as he's better than all the talls on our list after Rance Jack Nackers and Astbury. As I said he would walk into our side. Especially before Lennon Hampson Elton Soldo Chol and Griff.
Where are you playing him?

If Liam Jones can turn it around, Ben has a chance.

lol.

Liam Jones is 198cm. As much of a spud as he is, how many of those on a list?

Way harder for Ben to turn it around because he falls right into the average size footballer range, but hey, give him an opportunity. As much as I think his cards are marked I actually thought he may have come in against the Swans.

Has to be time for Lennon, we desperately need scoring power and after Jack he (or Lloyd but his form is shocking) is our most natural forward

He isn't our answer to bigger scores. 10 goals in 4 years. Without another key tall we have to rely on spread of goal kickers and we just didn't have that. Its fine to have a fleet footed forward line to pressure but they must also kick goals. We got 3 goals from Butler/Rioli/Bolton/Castagna and Bolt got two of them. Just aint enough.
