His contested marking is brilliant for a midfielder, taken some beauties this year.

C'mon guys, it's a bit early in his career for a thread like this, isn't it?

I'm impressed with him overall, but I'm prepared to wait for him to play 20 games before I start raving about individual acts, like the time he wore his sox one leg up and one leg down, or when he tackled some poor bastard into the next suburb.

I tend to agree, and the fact that he broke his leg and then used that as an excuse not to play out the season......soft.

Definitely when he got injured and people started saying ridiculous shit like:

"Liam Anthony is better than Ziebell"

Gee, you're such a hostile poster.

At this point in time, Jack has only played 9 (or 8?) games, as has Liam Anthony. I feel both will become very good players for this club, maybe even better, but people are allowed their opinions. Let them have an opinion, just because someone doesn't agree with you on a contentious issue, doesn't mean it is "ridiculous".

On topic now, I loved when he took that grab on the wing in his 3rd game I think it was.

RB has built a shrine to Jack Z at his home. He's not hostile at all. If anything, he's too nice at times.

I rember against freo this yaer he was running to pick up the ball and he waited till his opponent got closer then he pushed him away, picked up the ball and ran off. Plus the ball had bounced at an odd angle making his task all the more impressive.

Less bickering more great Ziebell moments.

His massive spoil on Cooney in the midfield put a big smile on my face. An 18 year old creating a damn good marking contest, gathering the ball, then running on while Cooney lay on the ground.....

There was 1 incident in the back 50 near the boundary where he hesitated, then stuffed his kick. He immediately regained posession and cleary outsmarted his opponent. (He's done this multiple times). He works hard to right his wrongs.

Running off the bench and marking directly in front of a Melbourne player then continuing to run forward rather than waste time.

He pushed Stephen Hill off the ball IIRC. Looked like pure class.

pwn3d.

The commentators were then making excuses for Hill saying the bounce luckily favoured Ziebell, but if you watch it again on the replay you will see that Ziebell read it better, got into better position and Hill had absolutely no idea after that.

Hill definitely has class but in that instance he got schooled.

LOL.

Clearly, anyone who disagrees with me is incorrect.

Currently in the process of making a compilation video of his season.

And yes Aria, I have included the full clip of the Wells goal, including the hitout.

Considering he's hardly played, I think I will wait for my favourite memory !

So true it's gonna be an exciting dynasty all round .
I loved the 2 goals in the carlton preseason game . Looking forwards to seeing a fit Ziebell smashing around with anthony on the end of most of them delivering it into petrie cambell and co . Ziebell and anthony cant be compared and i think each will be as good for north as the other just in different ways Anthony is a great accumulator of the footy and great user, ziebell being the contested ball winner inside and great user. They are going to be a great act together I rekon by the time they finish they will be one of the great partnerships in football akin to the loyd hird duo

Hello everyone

Just seen a lot of people talking about Harro lately and how apparently his main problem was he was never able to get fit enough to play out a game with good intensity.

This reminded me of some info I got about Ziebell a while back.

At the draft camp they test ur Vo2 Max out. I've got NFI what this is but apparently Ziebell tested in the bottom 10% of all the kids there and it's unlikely he will ever be able to improve this.

Can someone tell me more about this stuff and will Ziebell ever be able to be a proper midfielder???:confused::confused:
