Absolute indictment how much more running (14km plus) and high end running Scott does than our other players. Good sides like Melbourne share the load and sprint when required, but we just have a bunch of downhill skiers who don't sprint to man up in transition/defence. That's why we"re so easy to score against and why we get beaten every week.

It's also the high end efforts/ ability to sprint. We get scored against so easily because most of our players can't or won't sprint to man up nearly enough. And can't and won't travel the kms. Bailey Scott consistently does both. He runs hard defensively past our lazy downhill skiers all game long.

His ball use has been off the past few weeks but today he was much much better.

Can I just say the fact he’s the only player running hard in the second half and giving an option and providing run from half back and on the wing, just imagine if we had just two more gut runners with the ability to cover the ground as well as Scott.

It’s embarrassing for the other midfielders to have fitness levels this poor and there is no excuse.

The SBM is voted on by the coaches who have played the game at the highest level (with a few exceptions) and have been in the system for 20/30 years, understands the game plan and has an understanding of the players strengths and weakness.

The bigfooty mvp is voted on by supporters who may think they know a everything about the game but in reality know about a tenth of those involved in the game.

Also, they have different voting systems which effects how the votes are distributed.
