When that tank builds, we got a gun on our handHe was very, very good in the first half before fading out a bit. Moved through traffic with absolute confidence.
As others have said just needs to build his tank which will come in time
I can’t remember a gun midfielder we’ve had who actively draws in opposition contact like he does, Merrett and Parish must love the defensive pressure he takes away from them
Theyre so un-essendon. Tough little campaignersHim and Caldwell are little ball pigs. Future midfield duo with Tsatas providing the X factor
Same. Maybe it's just because he was at so many contests, but he seemed to have than 20 touches. Could also have been because his disposals were that impactful. I'll have to watch a replay.Surprised he only had the 20 touches. 6 clearances was great
This is what I would say.Same. Maybe it's just because he was at so many contests, but he seemed to have than 20 touches. Could also have been because his disposals were that impactful. I'll have to watch a replay.

Never waste an opportunity Bruno. The contrast between this kid and Parish is so stark.
He lives for body contact and then effectively distributes the ball.
Hobbs plays the sort of inside game you can forgive not hitting targets. He doesn't need it, though.
I’m married. I’d take a dry oneI have to say, there's something going dreadfully wrong somewhere if you're getting a dry one
