But he also ducks?Tough as nails. Hates to lose a contest. Selwood minus the ducking.
Turn a blind eye when it's us!But he also ducks?
He's got that extra half a second to get rid of the ball like Merret.
Will be our 3rd best midfielder next year.
I reckon it will take a few preseasons for ET to build up the tank to be a star.
Wow where is this guys ceiling? I don’t see Jobe or Danger cos different body type. I see peak GAJ, Cotchin and Joel!!! He avoids tackles like Joel but he does the little side step aka GAJ and I know he’s probably not popular around here but peak Cotchin had the same lateral ability. Every time I look at him he looks bigger. I actually thought the best game I’ve ever seen him play was last week against Freo. He is starting to act this way in high and regular numbers. Imo just as exciting as Nick Martin this boy.
Loving his trajectory, but those are big shoes to fill.Wow where is this guys ceiling? I don’t see Jobe or Danger cos different body type. I see peak GAJ, Cotchin and Joel!!! Haha sorry I meant peak Cotchen my bad

Will be interesting to see what happens with his body size over the next 5 years. Has an AFL capable body ATM, does he bulk up and grow his clearance and tackle breaking abilities/ lose his pace like McGrath and suffer for it, or only put on a bit more mass and dominate with growth in his craft/ not quite get to the peak of midfielders as as he can't dominate with raw pace or strength
I need a gif of that. Was one of my fave moments of the game especially because it came just after the free kick/goal Butters got from a McGrath/Hobbs tackle.Butters is probably pound for pound the hardest player in the AFL and he pinged off Hobbs like a golf ball on multiple occasions.
Oh yeah Hobbs was filthy with Butters all night long. A number of times gut running trying to chase him down. You could see he just didn't want to lose to Butters, hated it. Loved his attitude.I need a gif of that. Was one of my fave moments of the game especially because it came just after the free kick/goal Butters got from a McGrath/Hobbs tackle.
You could tell Hobbs was filthy at butters after the free, he tried to take on hobbs/mcgrath and then realised he was caught so dropped his knees and led with his head into McGrath's arm. Loved that Hobbs let him know he wasnt impressed in this manner.
