He'd be a great sub. I just can't see Dimma going for it.Doesn't fit in the forward line, too many players need time in front of him in the midfield. So where does he fit at this age?
Super sub.
Make it happen Dimma.

Did Edwards line up as sub at all last year? He'd be a great sub. I just can't see Dimma going for it.
We will not get 3 back maybe 1 l believe hope l am wrongWould like to see Sonsie in this week
Think Ross and juddy did enough to hold their spots along with cumbo
Not sure who goes out given Dimma believes we will be getting 3 back
Only twice.Did Edwards line up as sub at all last year?
I can’t remember off the top of my head but have a feeling that he did
I know he definitely did with Lambert so it shows he isn’t afraid to use older players as a sub
no reason he wouldn’t use the same tactic with Cotch
What difference does that make?Only twice.
uh oh , looks like cotch has upset some entitiled essendon private school parents.
I was just answering your question....What difference does that make?
Means he still played vets as subs so the point still stands
Yes that makes sense (even though that figure must be inflated because Hopper missed this week and he had to pinch hit in there) but where is he playing when he's not attending centre bounces ? Forward ? On the bench ? If he's not at the centre bounce, where is he ? That was my point. If he's playing all this time forward the stats will show it right ?Hes only attending 37% Of centre bounces. Was 74% last year.
Good.uh oh , looks like cotch has upset some entitiled essendon private school parents.
Not really, only 3% more than V the crows. It's probably about an even split between bench and forward when he's not in the midfield.Yes that makes sense (even though that figure must be inflated because Hopper missed this week and he had to pinch hit in there) but where is he playing when he's not attending centre bounces ? He still showed he has it as a mid on the weekend so if he's the fourth or fifth mid starting on the bench and occasionally drifting forward for a goal then he's more than earning his wage and being a huge benefit to the team. We've got him for one season you'd think.
There's a lot of factors at play with Cotch and Jack (also one season) and to some extent Grimes and Dusty (2y). I know the club is determined to exit them with dignity as they deserve. I think some supporters get impatient but we'd be wise to remember what happened years ago when this club treated premiership heroes like commodities or pawns in a power struggle with nasty neighbours. That set the club back decades.
I think the club has learned a lot from that and also watching Hawthorn disintegrate before our eyes.
Rest them, play them in bursts in conditions that suit them against opponents that suit them and integrate the youngsters beside them to learn and grow and prosper. That's how you run a modern successful club.
It's R4, still 19 matches and hopefully finals to play out.
Club won't have the balls to drop him. Once he gets to 300, hopefully they do.Champ of our club but absolutely he’s finished
What about Shai having zero impact?8 more games until Cotch reaches 300. I don't know if i can take another 8 games of Cotch having no impact on the game.
Yeah he’s cooked but He’s playing this year for peanuts, for the club.
Yes , no arguments from me, it was the wrong move in hindsight.$350k isn't peanuts. We're gonna have to decide whether to rissole dow soon and pretty sure Ross is sick of getting dropped and might wanna look elsewhere. We need to get Sonsie more midfield time. He's basically treading water and delaying the inevitable. I'm just thrilled Hardwick subbed him as was the right call.
He's actually tracking worse than Edwards was last year. Only heard he kicked 4 goals in an intra, but Ive watched every minute of the 2 praccies and the H&A games and he's done practically zero up forward. Where's all the experts who were slagging Cornes. He might be a flog but was a spot on call. Cotchins kicked 1 measly flukey goal from about 10 shots that have mostly gone ootf or shanked and completely missed.
