He’s not the problem as he’s surrounded by poor decision makers and under skilled or diminished old champions.
His ball reading, decision making and skills are still elite and better than any other blokes on the team. Wish he was still captain as he’s the only true leader we have.

I’ve never really understood why Jamie Cooper’s artwork is so popular. IMHO they often look like an advanced paint by numbers job. Now he and the club have released a Trent Cotchin print and I’m trying to work out who he looks like, because (again IMHO) he looks more like someone else than he does Trent.

dunno why he decided to give him a cartoonish faux hawk and a handlebar mustache, though.

Had some great games last season and is it surprising he produces he best game
For the year after returning into the midfield the past two weeks .
Club has taken the wrong approach by trying to change his role to fit others into the team and also save Cotchin body from the wear and tear of playing midfield. Played the first 3 games this season in the midfield and was averaging around 18 disposals in only 60-65% of game time, again last night only had 65% of game time but 27 touches to go with it.
Ideally the Hopper addition would have come 12 months later when Cotchin likely calls time on his career at the end of this season but understand it was an opportunity for last year only and was then or never.
Gaining Taranto and Hopper should have been to add to our midfield . For what ever reason under Dimma strangely their inclusion meant others were moved and our midfield depth didn’t actually increase . Thankfully since he left , Cotchin and Martin have been put back inside .

Just spent the best part of the morning watching Cotch highlights on Twitter
Anyone with an account give @rfcswallace a follow who has been retweeting and posting and I have a feeling he will be for most of the week
Despite the noise of other things going on at the club I think ahead of his 300th it’s a great opportunity to reflect on how fantastic Cotch has been for our club and especially some of those finals performances
Not to mention that pretty decent year he had in 2012
