Well DB proves there was some good in last night .

Boro says we are even worse than the Roar, but in truth we shouldve won that game no dramas last night. The build up play was good, Sarkies played a great game as did most of the others but once again our useless strikers cant put the ball in the back of the net. Last year we create 1 or 2 and score from them both, this year we create a dozen but we couldnt score in a brothel.

I wonder if Dodd had a say in Owusu taking the pen, because like everyone else I knew he wasnt going to score. Credit to Mcmaster on the save but Lloyd made it sooooooooo easy.

At this stage finals look like a stretch, hell even winning a game does.

Dodd was keeling over after his run into the box, he could barely get up, let alone take the pen. Owusu appeared to ask him if he wanted him to take it, Dodd then nodded. Lloyd was unlucky, McMaster pulled a great save, I can understand why he wanted it though, I was pleased to see Lloyd hungry to take it and get a goal against his name to try and build some confidence.

The only good penalty is the one that puts it beyond doubt despite whatever the keeper does. That is abut a half a metre window either side of the upright. If the keeper went the other way we would not have even been talking about it.

Just watching the replay and Isaka Cernak was in the penalty box before Owusu took the penalty and was the one who cleared it away. Right under the refs nose too. Muscat can take his again after blasting it over but Owusu can't after the guy in the box early is the one to clear it out?
