A piece of bulldogs history!

The picture below is of a flag i was given when i was 8 years old by my primary school teacher.... i've held onto it ever since!! what do people think of it? do you think it has much worth? i would offload it... i know we lost on the day...

Contact JBoyar (Long time BF regular) who could give you a lot of advice about it. Joe is an avid collector of Bulldog memorabilia.

These flags are fairly common. Don't know the price range but I wouldn't be hanging my retirement on it.

Keep it and donate it to the proposed Bulldogs museum.

In good condition $ 150-200 but this looks worn, Ive got this and a few from 1954 and othe 1950 finals, also P Box Brownlow ones, my earliest is a 1938 pennant from out first finals appearance.

They also did pennants/flags for end of seson trips , listing names of travelling group, hotel thet were staying at etc

My latest addition is a 1926 Ballot paper for the Football club comitee, BEWDY.

It's funny I've got a 1961 flag almost exactly the same that my old man gave me. From memory it doesn't have the picture of EJ on it though.

No chance that I will ever sell it though. Hopefully if I have kids that I can brainwash into following the Doggies I will pass it on to one of them one day.

when they made the finals a pennat was produced with the eam list , then when they made the GF a new one was produced with Whiiten on it.


The 1954 Grand Final Pennant was aslo sold after the game with a premiers label attached.
