The irony is that Bateman pantsed him.

LOL on the tram home 3 of your supporters reckoned Bateman got owned by Ablett as well as two neutral supporters. My mates who go for Hawthorn reckon it was a bad move and may have cost them the game. They all reckoned that Ablett found it too easy to break free from Bateman and while he didn't touch much of the ball when he did he was very effective and delivered for Geelong whn he needed to. Maybe you cannot bear to accept Ablett hadf a good game without touching the ball 50 times in as match and he played the role of defensive Midfielder that Thompson wanted him to really really well?

Ablett got tagged the whole game by Reilly, and was kept to 18 touches.

Reilly went off for five or six minutes and Ablett got back into the game, but apart from that was shut down the whole night.

Once again shows you can't rate this player unless he gets tagged.

P.S. Hodge was BOG against Brent Reilly this year.
