No they werent. And no one has ever been rubbed out by a tribunal for what ablett did. Abletts ruling tonight was consistent.
Using a technicality to exclude Cousins getting rubbed out last week is weak.

How do you know Gaz is a homophobe? Do you know him personally? Did you read his explanation?

Tough talk, without a shred of proof!

It's just disgusting that you have the audacity to post such a despicable comment!
Because he supports statements which say that gay people are evil and should be punished for it. That's usually a pretty big giveaway

Practicing his mouth open exercises , hoping he can transition into the Geelong coaching box at the end of the season. Has some work to do to dislodge Scott though:

Needs to increase the aperture and get rid of the smiling eyes.

Yep, although that must be an old photo. Scotty’s been very measured in the coaching box this year. Seems to have been practising his ‘don’t give em anything’ looks.

Wrong! Ablett removed his like + explained the reason he like Folau's comment, which, if you'd read it, included a whole list of others, who Felau believed would go to Hell. Go + read Ablett's explanation, before you tar + feather him.

It only existed for the Dusty case

Since you didn't read the tribunal notes, they pretty much took off the extra week the AFL put on for potential to do injury and brought it back down for intentional, low impact and high to the head.

You won't see it used again this year I imagine as it makes no sense how it isn't applied to all cases as there is always a potential to do injury.

So while the MRP did make you the first ones to defend it, you were not affected by it at the end as it was brought back to 1 week.

Except that record is not part of the process, and lesser know players haven't received the same leniency

I’m not familiar with the exact ins and outs of the AFL judicial regulations but every sporting organisation in the world that I am aware of has clauses and provisions for players who have enjoyed a clean record over an extended period. Considering it was raised by many in the media as an obvious way the Cats could defend him, I would be amazed if the AFL doesn’t have similar provisions in its judicial by-laws

Yep-the tribunal can factor in a player’s record and clearly a long time player with a clean record is more commendable than a new player with a blemish. ( the hawk guy). If you play 320+games without an incident, then it’s correct to recognise that.

Ablett isn't really that physical a player, he plays primarily with self preservation in mind. He said in his testimony his first thought when he saw Shiel in that position was to spin away and protect himself which is interesting given he had a good chance to lay a fair bump. Hes not really a player though who wants to put his body on the line that much. Agree with the Geelong supporters here that there is no creal comparison there to players like Hodge or Mitchell who played much more on the edge and hence got reported much more

This is by some distance the stupidest post I have ever read on this forum.

Do people who attack Ablett for his religious beliefs understand their hypocrisy when calling him a homophobe?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Ablett has had a lot of trouble with his injured left shoulder, so he would avoid re-injury.

That was one of the most intentional hits I’ve ever seen. And the AFL aren’t no corrupt? Pull the other one.

I'm sure you believed the same about Cotchin's hit on Shiel
