Bump. Absolutely worth it both in draft capital and whatever we are paying him. Has become an elite mid.

Win/Win
Amiss looks like a good forward prospect, Cerra has developed into an AA level midfielder and would be Leading Carlton’s B&F
It's so hard to get these because the team that loses the player has to absolutely nail the draft pick, we would have liked more for Cerra (as most of your supporters will see why now, looks very very good) BUT the fact that we nailed the pick has made it fair (also have to factor in that Carlton won't feel they've missed out as we nailed the pick with a KPF which isn't a pressing need for your club)Yeah, this is a massive rare win/win fair trade. Both players are going to be key pieces for a long time to come.
Also extremely fair on the rest of the comp as neither side improved as a result of it. Win-win-win.
Yeah really weird comment by the Western supporter. Both teams would be considerably worse off this season without the contributions of Cerra and Amiss, so your cheap shot doesn't actually make sense
You do realise they are 23 and 20 respectively right? Also extremely fair on the rest of the comp as neither side improved as a result of it. Win-win-win.

They have a long way to go.

Dude has been injured most of the season.
With Treacy, definitely a win winFreo would be quite happy with the way it finished up despite not wanting to lose him. They have been looking for a quality key forward since Pav retired and managed to find one by Cerra walking out.
What does Young have to do with the trade? With Treacy, definitely a win win
Young has overtaken Cerra as a better midfielder as well.
I assume he's saying that in the long-run we've replaced the player Cerra was supposed to be for us with a superior player, making the trade even better with hindsight. Still one of the rare win-win trades I guess (assuming Cerra gets over his hammy issues). What does Young have to do with the trade?
Is Young a superior player? No doubt that he had a better season than Cerra, but Cerra last year was probably better than Young this year (in comparison).I assume he's saying that in the long-run we've replaced the player Cerra was supposed to be for us with a superior player, making the trade even better with hindsight. Amiss kicked 36 as a 21 year old. Its a decent season for him, why would Freo be disappointed? Is Young a superior player? No doubt that he had a better season than Cerra, but Cerra last year was probably better than Young this year (in comparison).
Either way it’s not really relevant as it comes down to Cerra vs Amiss.
And I think both Carlton and Freo fans would be disappointed with their respected players’ seasons.

As a point of comparison Curnow kicked 34 and McKay 21 when they were 21.
Just saying it’s a win win for both teams and Fremantle managed to develop an elite midfielder in the process. What does Young have to do with the trade?
