Farewell game on Sunday.
Nah, his performance has been appalling. Took all the momentum from a good run of form in May and absolutely destroyed by doing his same old crap:
- playing guys who are unsuited for the modern game in Gaff and Sheed
-changing winning structure and gameplan to the baffling "land of the giants" Forward line. This all appears to have been done in order to accommodate Darling and Allen
-Rushing unfit favourites back into the 1s (Allen and Kelly), while young guys quite rightly have to go through the WAFL first.
Guy deserves to be gone yesterday. Time to move on.
Don't be surprised at how quickly the list might start performing with the right new coach. Old guys get put on notice and young guys play with enthusiasm, as they know good performances will be rewarded.

It's time for change but there's no need to be disrespectful to a successful coach who delivered us premiership.
I really hope we get the sugar hit of a fresh voice within the 4 walls or some of you will realise just how good we've had it with our coaches and that maybe there's only so much that can be done with this list.

This is true. He needs to be gone yesterday, but he's still been a premiership-winning coach and has achieved about as much as Worsfold did in his tenure (and I dont think you'd find a WCE fan willing to pot Johnny).
They’ll be the same posters that will be calling for the next coach to be sacked within a couple of years of appointment.

Having posted here for 20+ years (Christ.), I can confirm, it’s the same types over and over that are ‘Sack the coach!’ type supporters.
They usually go hard and go early.
Rarely are they ‘deep thinkers’.
