And to choose which one of them it will be is a pretty simple algebraic formula.
The chances of one of them becoming responsible for a premiership is directly proportionate to their velocity when spilling x the volume Powerade they spill.

No, that won’t do it. Because haters will find a reason eg:

• should have finished top and smashed the opposition

Its a weird one coz one flag feels like we annoyingly wasted chances 19, 20 and 21 and hes underachieved but if he snags another flag he is talked about in the same breath as Micky Malthouse and probably rated even higher.

Any game plan that forces/allows our resident pensioner JK (but still potent) FF to regularly find himself on the defensive side of centre after halftime and allows our superstar (?) key back to continue to play a game style that the opposition no longer gives a poo about, is flawed.

1st half, JK wasn’t playing great but was dangerously positioned and we benefited. FWD structure evaporated in the last quarter and we were simply kicking to their defenders.

JK needs Darlin/Allen( preferably both) to make some sorta impact at this level. He also needs a decent midfield winning the ball and being able to stack up repeat inside 50's. Not even Buddy would be doing better in our current side.

Curiously, Simpson apprenticed under Clarkson and i believe was Hardwicks contemporary at Hawthorn as an assistant coach, so why he is seemingly adverse to all things emotive is puzzling.

Safest bet in the world saying “I think this version of a team won’t ever win a/another flag”. You’re right so often just in sheer probability, and when you’re wrong it doesn’t matter cause your team won a flag so everyone is too happy to care.

OP was all over the place. He said we’d never win a flag under Simpson, but didn’t want him sacked, but he wanted to win a flag and we’d never win one under Simpson, but he wasn’t calling for Simpson’s head, but he had to appoint a headkicker assistant coach, but even if he did we still wouldn’t win a flag, or maybe we would, but not under Simpson, but he shouldn’t be sacked.

Anyway, now we’ve appointed two new assistant coaches including a rumoured hardass in Schofield, so if we win a flag he can say he was right all along. And if we don’t he can say he was right all along.

2018 was the sweetest of all but ive said for a while that this year will give us a clear indication if Simmo is a "great" coach not just a good one. We have had a stellar cast of players but they are getting long in the tooth and injury prone.
-The injury crisis is unprecedented but can have a silver lining.Its forcing the hand of coaching staff into playing a larger portion of the squad.
-Jones first up looks as tho he may go the next step.If so we will have Jones,Rioli,Ryan and Kelly.Has there ever been a better indigenous quartet? That alone is the basis of a good footy side.
-Face reality; Williams at this stage isnt up to being a NN backup.Stradnica must be given a shot when fit.
Xon looks as if he couyld be a handy fourth midfielder but needs [A] to be given a consisent run and needs to lift his aggression and consistency.
-Winder looks a good sort,
-With Stradnica rucking we can throw NN forward more.With JD,OA and Williams down there;throw in Petrol and a fit Cripps and the above quartet and the plus a cameo from JK and the forward line looks unbelievable.
-if Strandica doesnt come up then Guv must go in the guts.Yeh yeh save all the AA defender crap!!.If Shuey holds up id put Yo into defence.Gives it speed,tackling power and class.West will give us extra midfield grunt.

We hired a new senior assistant a few months ago.
