Adcock Vs Carrazzo

just wondering who you guys think will rack up more sc points and be the more prominent player in 08?
both pretty expensive but both great players.
cant make up my mind.
adcock = $594,100
carrazzo = $550,100

Both guys are in quality midfields. Adcock is probably 4th or 5th best in Brisbanes midfield atm. Carrazzo is about the 4rd or 4th. If I had to pick one of them I would say Adcock, no biad, only becuase Carrazzo performed well last year in one of the worst midfields, and with Judd and Stevens being added to that midfield, and the development of Murphy and Gibbs and the ever present Scotland, I think Carrots will get a lot less ball this year. On the other hand, Brisbanes midfield is pretty much unchanged from last year, with the addition of TJ. We know that Adcock got plenty of it last year with all the best midfielders, so what's stopping him this year.

On that basis, I would pick Adcock

I'd get Adcock. Played quite a bit in defence and still scored some nice points. Has better skills as well.
Just a question to Brisbane fans, will he get less midfield time because of Johnstone?

Haven't considered either of them, the reason being that there is much better value out there. Adcock seems too expensive based on one breakout season, not enough upside there. Carrazzo has about 5 million other midfielders in there that he'll have to compete with for gametime/possessions.

Last year I had both players. Carrazzo was a good cash cow but this year is entirely different. Adcock is more efficient with his disposal and more consistant than Carrazzo, however he could cut loose this year with fewer tags. Why not buy Nick Stevens instead and throw the extra $200,000 towards your forward line?
