A question about height.. I've been in H2, row E in the Northern Grandstand at Aami. With Adelaide Oval, I've been allocated aisle seats again, but in row R, section 540. Would these be overall better seats? Or worse?
I'm confused because it *seams* higher, and further away from the action, and I don't want everyone to look like ants :(

Would be great to hear some opinions!

Cheers,
Wade

I don't think the grand stands are going to be as tall as ETIHAD, and sitting in the back row of ETIHAD earlier this season, I could see all the action quite clearly, without the players looking like ants. I think you should be all right there.

Also, is anyone else having issues with the AFC membership team? I tried ringing them to get my seat allocations changed to sit with friends, and all I got in return (after being on hold for a while) was "Sorry, we're too busy to help. Try again another time".

Ever sat at the back of the Western stand?
In the Eastern you won't be much further up, and the stand is closer to the fence than the western.

Great stuff mate. Looks sensational, hope I can sneak over there next year for a look.

I wonder who the AFL will schedule for the first match. Maybe a derby?

Pretty sure the first match (second technically) will be a Showdown in rd 2.

Exciting times for SA footy. Crows will bounce back after a focused pre-season, and Port will have big hype and interest even if we get smashed by Geelong next week.

For interstate travelers, being able to stay overnight near the CBD and have the AO, casino and other city restaurant/nightclub options all within walking distance will be huge.

If its not a sellout, the SANFL and AFL should be concerned.

It will sell out for sure. When I chose my seats 2 weeks ago I checked the eastern top deck, eastern mid tier and southern stand mid tiers, and they were at least 80% taken already, that's after 1 week of bookings (season tickets for Port). I was very surprised.

Some photos I took today!
