I didn't realise how much bigger the Southern stand was compared to the east and west stands, it is going to look very impressive as you walk across the bridge towards the game.

Mothballed initially, long term probably a Waverley like redevelopment.
A question about height.. I've been in H2, row E in the Northern Grandstand at Aami. With Adelaide Oval, I've been allocated aisle seats again, but in row R, section 540. Would these be overall better seats? Or worse?
I'm confused because it *seams* higher, and further away from the action, and I don't want everyone to look like ants
Would be great to hear some opinions!
Cheers,
Wade

Great stuff mate. Looks sensational, hope I can sneak over there next year for a look.
I wonder who the AFL will schedule for the first match. Maybe a derby?
If its not a sellout, the SANFL and AFL should be concerned.
Still not a fan of the gaps
I tend to agree with the going sentiment that once the southern and eastern stands are complete you'll find that gaps will be filled in with video screens and walkways and thus be insignificant. I also think that 3 individual grandstands adds more character to the ground.Still not a fan of the gaps
