West Coast are at Lathlain, miles away from their core supporter base and definitely not near the coast.

These clubs are no longer suburb aligned, never have been over in the West to be fair.
With these clubs pushing out of their core areas to chase a supporter base in the outer suburbs (like the Demons in Casey), it makes me like the Thebarton Masterplan more and more. Now we just have to convince Mali to put in a branch line of the Port Rd tram through the Southwark brewery (while they are knocking it down) to Thebby oval 😉.

Not really sure where west coasts core supporter base is other than I would have thought it’s all over WA.
Freos is a bit like ports base being at two wells (I understand the land cost situation)

Hey mate, Rankine goal train, round 1?

😄
Im both nervous and excited its about 21 days to go.

Punting is like a 24/7 commitment for the next 6 months.

Funnily enough Ive already placed a lot of bets on already as I had many free bonus bets to use over summer.

Rankine to bankroll the year in round 1.

Pedlar needs to be someone to look at early too, very little exposure.

pedlar is unlikely to be selected in the 22. Starting forwards and mids that are locks for round 1;
Tex, Fog, TT, McAdam, Rankine, Rachele
Laird, Berry, Keays

Assuming this group takes up 3 of the 4 bench positions, Soligo and Schoenberg leave only 1. Which means that Pedlar needs to push past both McHenry & Murphy. And that's assuming they take up 3 to start with. Just as likely it's 2, with the defence and wing roles taking 2 for their rotations.

TT on the bench rotating with Tex and Fog?

How I imagine Rd 1 looks...

B: Doedee Butts Jones
HB: Milera Murray Smith
C: Hinge Laird Dawson
HF: McAdam Walker Rankine
F: Thilthorpe Fogarty Rachele
Fol: ROB Berry Keays
Int: Sloane Soligo Worrell, Schoenberg

Sub: Pedlar/McHenry/Sholl/Hamill/Murphy

It's the Sloane selection that squeezes him out. I think Pedlar is ahead of McHenry and Murphy now.

****, how good is that forwardline....

Nicks was gushing about Pedlar on a radio interview a week or two ago. As per Peter Doherty’s post above, Rahilly is talking him up too. Definitely seems like they want him in the round 1 team

Players are routinely talked up, happens every year. But reality is that ordinarily they need to overtake an incumbent. Pedlar is right on the line and I hope he is selected round 1. But I doubt he is, and not because he shouldn't be, but because of who it puts into the 2s.

Thanks, how did you find that out? The thing is though if you only want it for AFL, 7 months of the season comes to $210
