With these clubs pushing out of their core areas to chase a supporter base in the outer suburbs (like the Demons in Casey), it makes me like the Thebarton Masterplan more and more. Now we just have to convince Mali to put in a branch line of the Port Rd tram through the Southwark brewery (while they are knocking it down) to Thebby oval .

Nicks was gushing about Pedlar on a radio interview a week or two ago. As per Peter Doherty’s post above, Rahilly is talking him up too. Definitely seems like they want him in the round 1 team

Players are routinely talked up, happens every year. But reality is that ordinarily they need to overtake an incumbent. Pedlar is right on the line and I hope he is selected round 1. But I doubt he is, and not because he shouldn't be, but because of who it puts into the 2s.
