I don't know anyone who thinks this will result in a magical uptick.

I’m going to the game tonight, I was expecting a loss but now that Sheedy and Dodoro are out I’m expecting a 20 goal win.

Yep. We are almost entirely committed to the current list with no real scope to change in the next 24 months.

By the way, that's the product of the last 2 times Dodoro oversaw the use of 3 sets of top 10 picks in the space of 24 months at the start of a rebuild (i.e. Parish, Francis and McGrath and then Cox, Perkins and Reid) that hasn't be a catalyst for more than the usual mediocrity.

I find it almost amusing that the people think that the departure of Sheedy and Dodoro at this point stands as some sort of meaningful cultural change. The club is still overseen by a board that will engage in a circle jerk over the list every time it meets - they're still a bunch of useless sycophants.

Thats true, but this is 2 pretty big steps.
 
Sheedy, heppel, dodo - biggest win of the season for me. Saved a wasted year.

All deserve recognition for the hard work and love for the club over a long time but all needed to go to move forward. Well done bombers.

2025 - miss finals
2026 - win a final
2027 - top four or flag?

Said we'd be back in contention 3 years after all 3 are gone so let's see.

List still needs bit of shake up and trade out some players but hope is on the horizon.

We have too many holes in our list to be thinking we are wining finals, let alone a GF within 3 years.

3 years is a long time in footy.

I think winning a final by end 2027 is entirely realistic.

Merret will be 32 at end of 2027 season, if you don't think we can win a final before then would you look to get 2 first rounders for merret and bottom out a bit more.
