Not sure if this one was like a normal fair work claim but if so going in person is the last stage after lengthy mediation/private negotiation so this has been going on a while and he was pushing for as much and hard as he could until the bitter end. Also eventually details of the tribunal hearing will go up on the Fair Work website unless another set of rules apply to Adrian.

Sounds difficult to deal with?

He’s clearly been a problem for a long time, and he probably knew he was a fraud.
I reckon he doesnt know, guys that keep falling upwards and rewarded for mediocrity like he has get a bloated sense of ability. He probably genuinely feels he has been hard done by, so delusional!

Seen a few comments regarding this situation along the lines of "footy clubs are poorly run and you end up with situations like this".
I agree footy clubs are poorly run in the BoH stuff a lot of the time but also think scenarios like this happen alot in big companies too, a guy knows the right people and continually gets rewarded for loyalty not for capability.
Eventually new management take over who see the person for who they are but the person has been there too long or is in too senior a role to get rid off so they try to manage him out by giving him cushy roles without much influence....unfortunately with Dodo he managed to still cause an issue regardless of where he went.
When these sorts finally do get the flick it always ends up with them being put on gardening leave immediately instead of working during their notice period, better off paying them to do nothing than letting them poison the workforce with their disgruntled attitude.

End of the day we should be as mad at those that run the club and those who influence decisions made by the club with their donations, as we are at him, for letting him stick around so long.
Even this new chapter is sputtering a bit because he was allowed to stick around for 2 years.
We tried to let him down easy and he still feels aggrieved, in hindsight should have ripped the band aid off as soon as Barham/Scott/Vozzo were in place.

In my view, we should have ripped the band aid off back in 2007. By that time, he'd had a decade in the role and we were on a very clear downward trajectory after being a powerhouse.

This is just my own assumption but I reckon Sheedy held the reigns till he got the flick in 2007, would any of us even known who dodoro was back then?

I don’t have access to Age articles but this looks like new information -hadn’t heard there was a dispute involving fair work.

Suffice to say, he ain’t coming back / influencing any decisions any time soon.

Does Adrian Dodoro thinking he was unfairly dismissed from his role fit in this thread? The very definition of irony.
Couldn’t find Dudoro thread so it’s right Togo here. He must be classed as an employee and not contracted, that’s the only reason he’d be paid out. What a joke of a process this has been to get rid of him. Hope he never darkens our doorstep again.
