“The Woodson” - Confidence Rating competition
Basic rules:

• Each week, tip the winner of each regular season game, with a confidence rating from 16 (most confident) to 1 (least confident).
• During bye weeks, the most confident will still be 16 points, down to 2-3 for the least confident.
• Total scores from the winning teams selected will determine your weekly total points, and we will have an overall standing.
• Lockout is Sunday 1pm ET (i.e. the start of the Sunday early slate of Games)

Surprised so many went the Bengals today, I was tossing up whether to flip to Denver last minute but decided to keep Bengals and lower the CR.

Jatz with a superb 250, SnakeMan86 continuing the run with 246 and MJC23 on 244, slightly closing the gap on DA, who still leads by 66 with 1 week to go.

Running a tight race for 2nd in the overall comp, MJC is a deserved winner of the DZE competition!

I was very nervous heading into week 18 with so many teams resting players etc I thought I was a good chance to choke after leading for so long. Things didn't feel good early when I flipped to Pittsburgh late and Cinci got up after initially having Cinci around 7 or 8 CR (listening to the Simmons pod over the weekend convinced me to flip). Luckily MJC23 tipped mostly the same as me this week although did get a couple on me and ended up with more correct tips for the year (196 v 193). Jatz (193) and bgt2110 (192) also tipped extremely well this season, I can't imagine I'll get so many tips right in a season again.

Thanks for organising the tipping this season samFFC hopefully we can go again next season, I don't know about others but I'm happy to chuck in $20 or so entry fee - might have to do a reminder in early August to try and get numbers up.

Mojo wins the week, BeinPurplenGreen close 2nd and the rest of us well back!

The gap did close in the overall standings, but DA stuck it out, over our DZE winner MJC23 .

What was the prize pool? Top 3 or 5. And DZE and knockout.

If I held onto 10th it's probably my best finish in AE.

Wonder if next season we can try and bring back AE head to head season. But given we had some drop out and stop tipping that might be unfair or difficult as a prize league

As suggested by others, we will split the pool between the competitions, with a winner takes all.

Competition 1 - "The Woodson": 60%

Competition 2 - "The JeffDunne": 30%

Competition 3 - Drop Zone Elimination: 10%

No prizes for 2nd, so go for gold.

Umm isn't it winner takes all? Don't want be a dick about it but that's my understanding from the OP, right?
