Devon Smith at 37 by Pea Nut - why, oh why? you could have got a real player still this early.

It amazes me there's a player out there who's first name is:

The HOWLERS at the end of round 15.

Jordan De Goey at pick 15 by Drugs Are Bad Mackay? - mate, add 50.
Alex Rance at 25 by FAITH - no worries about the injury then? Harris Andrews went three picks later.

Reilly O'Brien at 93 by FAITH - Todd Goldstein was still available?
Alex Keath at 105 by Pea Nut - good player sure, but 105??
Peter Wright at 122 by Drugs Are Bad Mackay? - yeah, *this* will be the year
Esava Ratugolea at 228 by Crow_68 - long sustained sigh
Jarman Impey at 242 by deaneus - he's injured, dickhead

This is an easy one.
Rance>>>Andrews
O'Brien>Goldstein

Andrews > Rance on talent IMO, but considering the media's love for Rance he's probably more likely to get points, IF he returns to . I personally would've taken Andrews first, though

ROB definitely >> Goldstein, think O'Brien will only improve next year, could be a top ruck in the comp

Who was the first drafter to see the talent in Harris Andrews and pluck him from obscurity years ago?

I know Rance is a bit of a dick, but he's a top 10 player in the comp.
And why wouldn't he return to the same level, none of us think doedee won't?

Doedee will, eventually. But you've spent a draft pick on Rance assuming he's going to immediately return at All-Australian level. That's clearly not going to happen.

Will ROB have a better year than Goldstein? Maybe. He had a dozen good games this year before falling off, and that shouldimprove, plus he's not gettingt dropped if we have no depth. That being said, Goldstein has been at near AA level for almost a decde. If he holds that for another year then he'll definitely be better than ROB - chances are he'll be managed though.

I took Rance at 25, if there wasn't a slight doubt about his knee I would've taken him top 5.
There's always doubt about every player, but I've got him up there with Danger in terms of getting the best out of themselves.
Wouldn't surprise me if he makes AA next season.

Just like real recruiters though, we all have differing opinions on players, it's all subjective.

Very high level competition lads , have played a few of these type leagues and always been near top or podium.
This is by far the best across the board and tough to crack as you see 8 or 9 of your 12 preferred next selections dissolve before your eyes .
Good fun !!

Have a think about his age (30 and a half when the season starts) and his weight (nearly 100 kegs) and the distribution of that weight... he's practically top-heavy because he's built like a brick shithouse, he will need to lose a ton of weight before his leg will let him run around like he used to, at his age I predict he will not return to anywhere near where his abilities were

Last year was more intense with people trading picks during the game.

Any other player I would probably agree with you.
Rance is special though, one of the best I've seen in his position.
