Hits, misses, steals and gambles - Rounds 11-15
Hit - 175) roo2macca - Jarrod Berry (Brisbane) - career building nicely. Perfect year to take him. He's banked 50 games but it's before people really notice him. roo2macca has timed this as sweetly as a Mark Waugh legside flick.
Miss - 176) skam85 - Sam Weideman (Melbourne) - I know he was taken early and talls take longer and all that but I've never seen this guy do anything
Miss - 177) Donkey Magoo - Darcy Macpherson (Gold Coast) - Who? Even teams getting thrashed get 100s of possessions so he gets some. Doesn't mean he's any good though.
Steal - 178) Scorpus - Tom Lynch (Adelaide) - a bit of a frustrating 2019 but it's easy to forget just how good this guy is. Massive work rate, makes things happen in the F50. A creator.
Hit - 179) Danger Zone - Aliir Aliir (Sydney) - Took the Swans a while to realise how good this guy is.
Miss - 180) FAITH - Darcy Parish (Essendon) - every year I tell people in the General AFL thread that this guy sucks and every year he churns out the same bland, impactless, nothing performances. A poor man's Richard Douglas.
Gamble - 183) Mego Red - Charlie Curnow (Carlton) - I went all in on this bloke last year and ended up with egg on my face. I'll be filthy if he puts it together this year. Massive upside. Could end up pick of the draft. Or his knees could prevent him doing anything.
Miss - 187) Freddy Bassett - Charlie Dixon (Port Adelaide) - how many stinky seasons does he need to have before people put a line through him? He's always hilariously awful.
Steal - 191) 1990crow - Daniel Rioli (Richmond) - slipped back a fraction last year for some reason but is an unbelievable talent. He's one I can see having a McLeod 1997 quantum leap at some stage of his career.
Hit - 192) Mego Red - Brayden Maynard (Collingwood) - rock solid pick up.

Careful with coop boys, they went down to the Modbury Mathematicians in the bottom of the 9th when coops threw to first instead of home and didn't and Benny the Jet (Aerodynamics professor of Paralowie Technical Institute) stole home.
