I don’t know that we’ll see Coopers tonight. The Payneham west international amateur playhouse is presenting “Jesus: The Forgotten Years” an gritty dramatic musical about Jesus life growing up with his mother and that man Joseph, while yearning to meet his real dad.
The score is amazing and features such hits as:

He’s no saviour, you’re unfaithful

You’re not my dad

God knocked up my wife, what am I to do

And

why did you leave me here, Dad?

Coopers is playing the role of Joseph and has had his talent described as “The Payneham players are blessed to have landed a Joseph with such delicate features with a voice range that allows him to hit the high octaves, like a bee picks pollen from a dandelion on a mountain”
You have no idea. I have sung my lungs out. I have reached a high that few in this world can even aspire to.

I'll go with a guy who should play a lot more games without injury, especially considering he's captain - Jarryn Geary.

Tossing up between two for my next pick, but I'll go with Mason Redman.

Coopers
Hopefully we catch Coopers before he's back on for the final act. It's where he as Joseph helps an adolescent Jesus recover from alcoholism after first discovering how to turn water into wine.

His headline number is "Don't bottle up your love"

Interestingly I play both Jesus and Joseph in this act.

It ends with me doing the Macarena. The applause is... tumultuous.

I take Callum Brown. Played a lot last year, should be on the up at 21 years old still.

I assume you're talking about the Collingwood player here, not the other one

Will your other one make it through?? I've been seeing the players I was considering all being picked off a lot more consistently in these later rounds.
Probably won't. I think we're all using similar research materials, so it's rare that someone does a bunch of crazy things, or something really unexpected occurs (except after Faith has selected them).

Best Picks Round 11-20

Round 11 - Aliir Aliir (Sydney) - Danger Zone

I rate this guy, feel he's a really solid pick around this mark, potential to place in the B&F and improved a lot last year. Great KPD get at this point.

Round 12 - Ed Curnow (Carlton) - FAITH

Picking up Carlton's second best midfielder in the 12th round is very decent, reckon he still gets plenty of games and a high B&F finish at the very least

Round 13 - Hugh Greenwood (Gold Coast) - skam85

Hard to see how this guy doesn't play every single game for Gold Coast, poll in the B&F and be one of their best players. Fantastic pick up at this point in the draft with a pick greater than 200

Round 14 - Tom Scully (Hawthorn) - 1990crow

Yeah good get here. If he pushes up into B&F calculations, as he should given his talent, you can't ask for more in the 14th round. Very surprising he didn't get a B&F spot last year to be honest

Round 15 - Easton Wood (Western Bulldogs) - skam85

This was a good round of drafting but this is the standout pick. Would have to be one of the Bulldogs best players and one of the best defenders still available in the draft at this point. Excellent value

Round 16 - Charlie Ballard (Gold Coast) - Donkey Magoo

Plenty of people probably have no idea who this guy is but he seems highly rated at Gold Coast, polling in their B&F in just their second season, and playing all games. Will be a mainstay of their defence for a long time I think

Round 17 - Zach Tuohy (Geelong) - Mego Red

Yeah this guy shouldn't be lasting until the 17th round. At his best, he's a great player and I felt he was a bit misused by Chris Scott last year. If he's back in his best position, this is a steal.

Round 18 - Jordan Clark (Geelong) - roo2macca

I feel this guy is set to continue his great first season. Should play all 22 games with ease and really accelerate his standing in the competition. Great value and IMO just as good as many of the second year players taken much earlier

Round 19 - Kade Simpson (Carlton) - Pea Nut

Definitely worth the risk at this point in the draft. Carlton have virtually no depth in the small defensive role so this guy is almost guaranteed a full season if he can stay fit. Still managed to poll in the B&F last year from 18 games.

Round 20 - Jarryn Geary (St Kilda) - Danger in Texas

Shouldn't be able to get a club captain in the 20th round. Maybe that says something about St Kilda's list, but if this guy is over his injuries, he'll be right up there in the B&F for St Kilda. Decent risk and get at this point

Ok, going for a risk here. He'll be 37 next year but, like Boomer and Kade Simpson, continues to be durable still managing 18 games this year. I imagine he would've gone earlier had he moved to the Suns but, alas, he is here.
