Ignoring the fact they got smashed by Geelong and then rolled on their home deck by Port.

In other words 2 of the best 3-4 sides currently in it on form. And against Geelong there were additional circumstances.

Not that I necessarily disagree. I have us at 8th or 9th. If we dropped the game this week estimations would surely plummet.

WC to win the premiership from 7th ;)
Well that was posted a few hours too soon...

This is why I've given up. Its ******* pointless.
Yep, this time last year I got the top 4 right though :thumbsu: (and I was certain of it, essendon was the only clear challenger outside the 4)
And if you swapped WC and Richmond I had the 8 down too (maybe not in order, carlton doesn't count)
This year is much less predictable- probably a good thing :rainbow:

about 4 years ago, i made a prediction on top 8 in round 5. The only one I got horribly wrong, I think was Brisbane, who won the first 5 then couldn't win a game.

This year is too hard to predict.

Essendon probably concern me at this point, and North clearly have shown they can match it with the best.

Why are West Coast a lock for the top 8 all of a sudden? Is it because they beat St Kilda (16th last year), Melbourne (17th) and the Bulldogs (15th)? Ignoring the fact they got smashed by Geelong and then rolled on their deck by Port.
I haven't really been following this thread lately, but I'm not sure any of us think we're locks for the top 8. However, I think we'll make the 8 because there's a lot of average teams this year who we're better than. We also have a good draw.

I'd like to see Port in a grand final. They played a very attractive brand of football against Geelong.

Geelong could have played better and kicked straighter, but people shouldn't be thinking Port just got them by surprise. Port have finals and premiership attributes in spades.

There is no way we are going to finish top man we would probably need to go undefeated for the rest of the season or something ridiculous like that Hawthorn just making the 8 lol?
