Didn't really bother to be precise with the scorelines. North should be one of 6 teams fighting it out for the last few spots.
A lot of ladder predictors with Richmond on 17-19 wins on Saturday morning. Proceed to lose to Gold Coast. Awesome.

Not trolling by the way. Would accept 15-16 as a guess. But 17-19 for the perennial prick tease team? Having foolishly tipped Richmond over Carlton for years and watching them lose I learned to not overestimate this early with the Tiges.

No offence, but that's basically like putting a boxed First-4 on, listing every horse, except the misplaced donkey.
The Lions have a disgraceful fixture. All this talk about equalisation, and the AFL goes and hands the Lions one of the two hardest fixtures. Lions fans, should be up in arms.
If you take into account their fixture, the fact they have a new coach, their list, Brown's age and body, and potential lingering effects form that boardroom debatable, I can't see them finishing above 10 other teams.
I don't think the Lions have zero chance of making the 8. I just think it will rely more on the other teams performing abysmally, then off the Lions own effort.
Giants, will have a season like the Suns did last year. At best.
Dees in the 8? Giants and Lions have more of a chance.

Lions were in the mix last year, Giants thrashed us last Saturday, Dees have Paul Roos. I wouldn't be surprised if all three of these teams are "around the 8". It's a tight comp this year, 4th-17th may not be separated by much.

Usually but against a team that's won 3 games in to years it's probaly not far off.

Possibly, but a half hour break at quarter time would be invaluable to a team that has fallen in a hole after 3/4 time more often than not.

Fremantle highest % is laughable.
Why? Hawthorn had the highest percentage last year with 135. Freo had 134.
In the context of the game, it was a thrashing.
You do realise that percentage is calculated from both the points for and points against.
If Fremantle win a game 80-40 and Hawthorn win a game 130-70, Freo's percentage would be higher.

I love that suddenly, most the tips have Port in the top 8. Pre-Carlton you all had us 11-14.

I actually had Port third, because I thought Hawthorn would drop off.
Off season form has shown otherwise, so I put them up to second and Port drop down a spot.
