AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
That’s up to youOoh, I've been champed. How will I ever recover ?
Brisbane too good - we won 12-2 to finish the year.Genuinely think any of Geelong or GWS would have beaten Sydney today as well. Think Geelong missed out on a gift wrapped flag by losing last week
Once is more than enough for me but enjoy.I can see myself watching the game 100+ times easily it was that damn good!
Yeah sure dominated against a poor WCE
Yeah because they are a pack of liarsHamish basically just called the former Hawk players a bunch of liars.
"Noone who knows Fages would believe the things that have been said"...
Once is more than enough for me but enjoy.
Thanks everyone! It’s been a really good match thread and can’t wait till next season already!
Commiserations to the Swans, your club always bounces back but shit like this hurts for a while for sure.
Congrats to all our Brissie BF users…enjoy!
Where does Sydney go from here?
Longmire really is Hinkley but GF form. 4 straight GFs loss, two v teams outside of top 4.
Amartey was trash. McDonald really should be a trade target for JUH or even North if they fancy it.
Swans hater or footy fan? Totally onboard either option! It was a great game that had many awesome moments throughout. I'm going to start a replay at 7pm
And like I wrote earlier I'll be buying the dvd, the bluray, the victory pack, the season overview box set
It's good to be a footy fan!
Not at all - primership medal above all else!Lachie Neale will be pissed he didnt win
It helps when it's two Non Victorian teams.Gee whiz I was contemplating laying a couple of hundred bucks on Sydney winning the flag based on them playing just 2 home games in stark contrast to the Lions playing one easy home game but then having to travel to Sydney and come back from behind against the Giants in one of the biggest margins on record and then traveling once more to Melbourne and again having to come back from behind to win, albeit a smaller margin that time around.
I didn't think the Lions would have much left in the tank after all that. I might be wrong but it's not often you see a team having to travel twice to win a flag. Can't say that I'm not feeling a little deflated as I, right or wrongly, feel that that cup should have been lifted today by the Geelong boys instead.
McCarthy getting injured, as much as it hurts for him, opened the door wide open for LohmanApparently the club was somewhat surprised last year when Lohmann re-signed, they all thought he was gone (supposedly to Essendon or Bulldogs). Less than a year later he's kicked four goals in a premiership side.
