Fort is no chump. Been putting up good numbers in the reserves, just hasn't been able to get a game in the firsts because they haven't needed him. Now he should get his chance.

Syd probably favourites but I think the Lions will find a way. They've shown the last 2 weeks on the road that they're never out of it, and performing on the G in September in recent years hasn't been a problem for them. Swans lost finals there last year and the year before.

Really didn’t want a Sydney vs Geelong Grand Final, but hoping for Sydney vs Brisbane.

So was a little confused on Friday, at first wanting Port to win but the way Swans played I thought they could take on the Cats and it won’t be a repeat of 2022.

And then Brisbane beating Geelong -Perfect!

Think the Swans be to strong, but I’m hoping the Lions do an upset.

Like you 1st time in a long time, I can be happy with either outcome.

I think Swans will win.

They haven't left Sydney since mid-August whereas Brisbane are coming off two very tough and close games and will be travelling for the third week in a row.

Fatigue management will be massive for BL this week, as well as the health of the Big O. I don't think the travel has been a big factor for them, considering it's been Sydney and Melbourne in consecutive weeks rather than Adelaide or Perth. But a big psychological strain on them preparing for these matches. The belief they must have coming back from behind can't be discounted.

The Swans last played at the MCG way back on Sunday 28 April v HAW. BL have seen it twice in the past 6 weeks, including yesterday.

Also, I wonder how Longmire approaches this behind the scenes, considering he's been HC for the past 3 Grand Final losses - '14, '16, '22.
