Impossible to see anything other than a big GWS win, but I am keen to see how the talented North kids go.

Yeah, this is pretty much where most North supporters are as well.

GWS are a genuine flag contender this year, so if we can keep it competitive that'll be a nice indicator and confidence booster for our kids.

Back in the Leon Cameron day this would be one we would lose.

Really should win this by 5-6 goals.

The only way this is less than 100 pts is GWS being to full of themselves!
It’s funny, that yeah gws will win, but north wasn’t blown away last year when we played them and frankly we have better talent this year. That said, yes we have major defensive issues and some extremely young players, but I’m hoping north will surprise a few this year.

Wishing you well & hoping GWS have a gut full of bathwater!

To be fair that was only our 5th win of the year and the start of us finally understanding the game plan.

On the flip side of fairness - you guys (on paper anyway) appear to be a tricky proposition this year so I expect a decent fight for 2-3 quarters. At which point I hope your young legs give way and we kick away.

Can the GWS social media team please go easy on us this week?
Not sure that’s possible. Jacob Gaynor has said on the last two “Green Room” podcasts that while has has fun with all the other teams, with North, it’s personal.

I don’t know what you guys did to him, but he has a thing about your club and if we win, I expect it to get ugly (and funny as hell, he usually is) but I have a sneaky suspicion he’s not going to go easy. Sorry.

He’s a native Canberran isn’t he? Might have something to do with North’s foray in to Canberra ?

Pretty excited about this match tbh. I think North Melbourne will play better than what people expect. Having said that, they’ll get thumped if their kicking is not good. You can get away with bad kicking with some teams, but GWS is not one of them IMO.
