Learnt from the best there is... King Kenny
I think Adelaide will improve massively on the last couple years. They aren't a threat to win the flag though. I think Adelaide are still a couple of years away from seriously challenging and I'd be predicting around 2027 / 2028. My prediction for top 4 hasn't changed from the end of last year, Brisbane, GWS, Geelong and one of Sydney, Carlton or Collingwood with Hawthorn finishing 5th. I'll say Sydney for no other reason than I follow them although realistically it's probably Collingwood that does it given their star factor.
He's very close. Crow's have zero injuries though so he probably needs an injury to a defender or loss of form from someone like Milera to get in.Crows supporter, how come Nankervis isn't in the side? He played some decent games last season.
Harley has given strict instructions to his manager that under no circumstances is he going to play for the Bombers, no matter how much they offer. He just wants some prospect of winning a finals match.Bombers need high quality defenders not Harley Reid.
So he is upping and leaving WC? Would be an absolute travesty for Collingwood to land him and WC to lose out because of the lure of weekly crowds at the G.Harley has given strict instructions to his manager that under no circumstances is he going to play for the Bombers, no matter how much they offer. He just wants some prospect of winning a finals match.
Apparently the Pies are now his preferred destination.
Good to see that Nick's learner his lesson with that defensive mindset.2023 we were a super attacking side and took a big step forward.
Last year Nicks slowed our game down and we struggled.
So while we will need to be tighter defensively, I’d much rather see us prioritising giving our forward line the supply we did today, then build the defence in to that.
You also enjoy seeing Essendon slowly rot. LoLwtf are you talking about? I couldn’t given shit about low scoring games.
Followed by GC, Cats, GWS, and Freo … what’s your point?Another soft kill in North next week
Saints
Bombers
North
Couldn't ask for a more soft oppening 3 rounds
Nah, Sydney won’t be thereI think Adelaide will improve massively on the last couple years. They aren't a threat to win the flag though. You are 100% right! Good job for saying what is so obvious. Cumming showed zero today, Nankervis a far better player hands down. Prove me wrong. He's very close. Crow's have zero injuries though so he probably needs an injury to a defender or loss of form from someone like Milera to get in.
That's a strange call.We can't work it out. Needs to be in for Laird.
It's a difficult job really for selectors. When there are injuries the decisions are usually straight forward but after 2 big wins who'd want to change a winning formula. It'll be interesting anyway. You are 100% right! Good job for saying what is so obvious. Cumming showed zero today, Nankervis a far better player hands down. Prove me wrong.
These early easier games help set game patterns and structure and build confidence.Personally I'm waiting to see how they stack up againt the good sides who bring the heat the amount of uncontested marks they took all day was ridiculous we looked like witches hats out there
Interesting, I see the Crows defeating the Giants in the GF.All the last 2 weeks have shown us about Adelaide is they are now putting sides to the sword with big runs of goals when they get on top. Most of Adelaide's close losses over the last couple of years have been because they haven't put sides away when they've got on top so the 10 minute lapses that you get from young teams hurt you more. Still can't see Adelaide finishing top 4 or seriously challenging for a flag this year but they'll scare a few teams.
Crows supporter, how come Nankervis isn't in the side? He played some decent games last season.
Two halves of one listener!Do the McKays still have their podcast and who actually listens to it?
Can you think of anywhere it's too bloated?Yep the talent pool in Australia is not big enough for have more teams
Cause literally have not one injury on the listCrows supporter, how come Nankervis isn't in the side? He played some decent games last season.
Laird. Milera was very good today, and is still very fresh off a year long knee layoff. Many of us would prefer he was in the team over Milera ( or laird)
Those 4 teams will give you a test and wont be witches hatsFollowed by GC, Cats, GWS, and Freo … what’s your point?
That's what was said about today. Those 4 teams will give you a test and wont be witches hats
What flack? Only heard Carlton and Port cop it.Looking forward to the media dragging Essendon over the coals for their performance against Adelaide.
Who am I kidding. They won’t get anywhere near the flack that we got last week.
