North is due. Honestly I think Melbourne overperformed against GWS. I am genuinely worried about the pace of North especially at Marvel. GWS smoked us in transition and it literally cost us the game. North just feels more settled to me.

Looking forward to seeing North win a few on the trot this year, hopefully it starts next week though.
If North can keep it close they'll probably run over the top of us, like every team does.

North's midfield beat ours pretty well last week, but Gawn/Oliver/Petracca will be a tougher ask for them this week.

North are competitive but their skill level lets them down at times, especially their inside 50 kicks. I think they may 'click' this year at some point, but not sure it's this week.

Last year it took us until after the bye to start playing like an actual team.

Expecting a lot of errors and mistakes but hopefully it comes together.
Dees would have this circled as a win and won't want to drop it.

Half our team is suffering from a chronic lack of poise. I agree we seem close to reaching a respectable standard of footy, but until I see the best 22 getting through a game without the kind of unforced errors that lead to a several goal disadvantage, it’s hard to be confident.
