If a upset happens in the woods, and no one cares, is it really an upset?
Reckon a lot of people cared, it was pretty highlighted all week.

Maybe if Richmond won this week Port fans would be happy as it might mean Ken leaves even quicker, but no after getting slammed in week 1 Port will probably bounce back and beat us by a big margin, we aren't going to compete every week but I'm just looking for the same effort and the kids playing well again is exciting.

I still have no idea why Hinkley is still the coach - other than "I still want the job." It makes no sense, and the players played last Saturday like they had no idea either.

Play like that this week and he won’t be there Monday.

Agree and he should be the first to go. Does he still live in Sydney? Should have gone years ago.
Yep. He's a bigger noose around our necks than Hinkley.

Are we forgetting that Carlton had 25 more inside 50s last week and our defence stood up. Several goals were generated from backline intercepts. Half way through the second quarter we hadn't scored from an intercept or turnover. The coolness of our Premiership players gave our young ones permission to hunt and run. Premiership players, who themselves were never the stars. These blokes are in it to create a long term legacy because they are owed nothing and have nothing to lose.
It's a bit hard to tell from last week because Carlton are so prone to those blind brainless dump kicks going forward. 25 more inside 50s mean nothing if they're all wild directionless hacks to nothing.

Although Port can be guilty of this panic-under-pressure stuff as well - so will be interesting to see how the deal with it if the Tigers bring the same intensity.

great point..
we will do our best to bring down the Hinkley era for you.(unfortunately don't think we will)
love our team selections, youth and ongoing development- and that's a win in its self.

After being brought back to life, Lazarus apparently went back to live with his sisters, and Jesus went on to be crucified , after which he was also brought back to life, briefly.

So it goes.

If resurrections happen in pairs, Tigers by less than a goal in another boilover.

Their fearless youth may be just the thing to make Port anxious and butterfingered.

Our tall forwards are Bauer (10 games), Armstrong (1 game) and Fawcett (0 games).
Port by plenty.
Well ours are Georgiades (barely qualifies as a 'tall' forward), Lord (who is not playing), Finlayson (who was dropped), and Lukosious (who kicked a solitary goal last week and looked disinterested in his first game for the club, most of the time).
