Come on. I know this has been a train wreck and totally unacceptable. But are we seriously at the point of complaining that they are fixing the wrong issues first?

I didn’t mean it in bad way but without them
Spoiling, we’re just kicking easy goals 5m out all the time

Their both of the same importance, both lead to easy goals

We will start providing patch notes from Monday.

ATM it is gameplay and stability, when we get to features, we will list them.

The game's way too easy, that will change tomorrow for Steam and Monday for Consoles.

There will be a patch for PC today, the focus is on stability. There will be another tomorrow with the focus being on gameplay.

Console will get these updates on Monday.

The reasoning is that we cannot guarantee that consoles will get the patches through in a reasonable timeframe, and if we have further patch issues, we can't fix in less than 24 hours, with Steam we can roll-back a patch pretty quickly.

We also want to get advanced feedback while we introduce the AFL23 feature list over the coming week - if you are on Steam and would like to participate in patches before they go live to the public and can give us feedback on them to help shape the game, then please DM JNT BA.
I'll have a crack mate. Send me a steam code.

We haven't re-introduced tackling while sprinting as when testing today it made the game too congested.

We will likely re-introduce both tackling while sprinting (risk reward/push in back etc.) and AI spoiling in tomorrow's Steam patch.

Everything has to come back in with balance, we can't just throw it back in or we'll be back at square one.

Fixing player movement so it’s easier to control your player could address congestion. At the moment it takes too long for players to turn and they get tackled really quickly. Conserving player momentum so they don’t stop upon a handball receive could also help open the game up.

Thanks for the update!! Good to hear the game isn’t planned to be overly congested! Love for free flowing it can be a times.. but being able to tackle when you press the intended control would be a fantastic addition. Can’t wait for Monday and the rest of the week

Better take those screenshots of the scorelines of teams that you hate (and have thrashed in video game form) while you can people!! :p
Once they introduce gameplay sliders you will be able to thrash people by like 1000

Meanwhile, I still get belted at times on Medium. Skill issue confirmed!

Possibly but every game has it's "quirks" even on the highest difficulty. The only "tough" AFL game I've ever played was AFL Live 2004 Premiership Edition. Port Adelaide would always destroy me (heck most teams did) on the highest difficulty, until I learned the AI patterns. I'd still get scored against heavily if I lost the ruck contests, but overall I was thrashing them constantly.

Found a new glitch but it made me laugh, after I scored a behind and the blue overlay screen ended, every player from both teams were bunched up on my attacking 50 on the corner of the boundary just completely static 🤣
