If this game was released in a traditional way it wouldn’t need patches and we’d all be happyIf this game was patched in a traditional way then you'd have about one or two patches by now, if weekly four, or if monthly then you'd have one, doing daily patches has allowed for direct input from here to make it into the game, with that comes fatigue but IMO will end up with a better game. If there is patch fatigue then you have the option of not downloading every day.
From an Eagles perspective, that's very unrealistic. It should be at least 3 a game. Not sure if it has been spoken about. I've just started my first management season, and every time I simulate a game I'm guaranteed at least 1 injury. Anyone else had this problem?

Been living under a rock much?I am not bashing here but why should people feel grateful and happy that they are getting regular patches? I mean people purchased a game assuming that its going to be working or as advertised on release.
The patch notes look promising and hopefully it does become a solid and enjoyable game.
Any chance you get them when playing a game or just simulating at this stage?? I haven't come across one as of yet and I'm doing a PS4/PS5 season, might try a management mode one this weekendNot sure if it has been spoken about. I for one am grateful - not grateful that we got a broken game on release - but at least they're making an effort to fix it quickly. I logged 14 EA tickets when FIFA23 was released and had to wait 2 months for some of the simple fixes to come in (bald youth players, no numbers on their kits, player modifications coming undone instantly) without a single reply or word from the team. Can't say I've purchased too many games since I first got a PS4 in 2015 that have been perfect upon release and didn't require patches. Even Witcher 3 was buggy as hell at launch and required multiple patches.I am not bashing here but why should people feel grateful and happy that they are getting regular patches? I mean people purchased a game assuming that its going to be working or as advertised on release.

I come in here to vent at times too but I don't see the benefit of throwing crap at a bloke who very simply could throw in the towel, wrap up the game and move onto the more profitable Cricket 24 whenever he wants.
I 100% understand the frustrations - whilst I'm not as vocal, there is a lot that has occurred that hasn't sat right with me. But take it to DM's or a mod if he's offending you - or do what he does, chuck him on the ignore list and you'll see the patch notes through other posters/twitter etc.. Public slinging matches don't benefit anyone. Not targeting you individually here btw, just everyone in both camps on the thread. Both sides are at fault but when it's a gang picking on one bloke, his only solution is to ignore and move on (which he can't because people keep dragging him in or referring to the past), bite back, or leave the thread. Whilst upon reflection, he 100% would know he could take better approaches to that, but he's human, a boss who's proud of his employees, and can only take so much baiting. Lots of lessons to learn from both ends of the park - we need criticality to keep the engine running, but I for one appreciate the dev presence in here and don't want to lose them. I've logged multiple tickets to BA and they've said "yes JNT or Ross have already mentioned this from Bigfooty" and I love that - but this thread is becoming like Fallout 76 forum toxic very fast and no amount of milo will save us from that.Ross threw crap at all of us when we dared to question their marketing strategy.
I appreciated the patches coming out making the game look more promising but I’m not going to forgive Ross’ antics when we’re proven correct in our assessment.
I’ve openly stated I am a limited gamer , WWE , NBA, F1, Cricket and Occasionally Madden and FIFA and that’s it outside of GTA the only non sport game.Been living under a rock much?
It’s been the state of gaming for 4+ years now, including massively high profile and big budget games.
Some are never fixed satisfactorily.
Madden has been a patch fest for 5 years until they completely f*** it after a few months and give up
Next to nothing? I think that is a bit rich...I don’t think people should feel grateful at all, they are paying anywhere up to $100 for a product that delivered next to nothing of what it was advertised to.
You are right - we shouldn't need to be grateful - games SHOULD be released in working order and as designed. It's just not the way gaming works anymore, and we're still in that awkward transition where a lot of us are used to pre-internet days of getting what you paid for on day 1. The goal posts for a "good game" change daily, and gaming companies now know they can use patching etc. to chase the goal posts whilst still meeting release targets. Every game seems to go gold, and then still require a day 1 patch to get it up to scratch.I’ve openly stated I am a limited gamer , WWE , NBA, F1, Cricket and Occasionally Madden and FIFA and that’s it outside of GTA the only non sport game.
WWE 2K20 is the only game I’ve ever played that’s been in a bad a shape as AFL was when I had a crack a few weeks ago on my cousins ps5. I’ve never had Madden or NBA have any of these game breaking bugs but then again I don’t play online against other people.
I don’t think people should feel grateful at all, they are paying anywhere up to $100 for a product that delivered next to nothing of what it was advertised to. It would be a mere expectation that the product they purchased is how it should be. I mean if the game had all the modes in there right now like management and pro team and there was a few issues graphically I think majority of people would overlook them and just say it is what it is- cricket is a prime example of some odd physics happening but it’s no big deal. I think the thing that grinds peoples gears here is that currently there is no depth to the game so every single negative really stands out game play wise.
This isn’t a dig at BA , previously stated big fan of the cricket games and I’m still buying on release without question.
BigAntStudios JNT BA any update on Xbox release date?
I’d prefer this over no injuries. At least it forces changes and not the same 23 each weekNot sure if it has been spoken about. I've just started my first management season, and every time I simulate a game I'm guaranteed at least 1 injury. Anyone else had this problem?

WWE 2K20, Battlefield 2042, Cyberpunk 2077, do I continue?People are way overblowing the state of gaming. It is simply insincere to suggest this game launch has been comparable to a typical modern release, unless you are specifically talking about the bottom of the barrel.
Don't think anyone is suggesting the release was on par with majority of games - we all know the release was a crapfest. We're more pointing out that it's not out of the ordinary to see games in that state - whilst it may be bottom of the barrel, it's not something anyone in this thread hasn't seen before. And instead of just locking onto the broken release, we're appreciating the constant efforts to fix it. Imagine they just went full 2k on us and said "it's too broken to bother with" and left us with a broken mess like 2k20.People are way overblowing the state of gaming. It is simply insincere to suggest this game launch has been comparable to a typical modern release, unless you are specifically talking about the bottom of the barrel.

Gollum looks like a kid from Humpty Doo who used to bully me and I'm pretty sure his Mum and Dad were also brother and sister. So the bottom of the barrel, as I said. Add Nacon's own Gollum while you're at it.
