Look at this point him being here is causing more issues than answering questions. Wouldn't really care if he stopped coming here bc he's just looked to argue with people instead of answering questions. Had a gutfull to be honest.
My questions got answered… and I’ve seen many others have theirs answered too.

Maybe not all questions get answered, but you’re more likely to get an answer rather than an argument as long as you go about it the right way.
That’s true in life too.

As the game is obviously designed to be played faster for higher scores in the 5 or 7.5 min modes which are the ones ppl are most likely to play- Can this be confirmed by BigAntStudios
I’d love to see an option in the upcoming sliders to really slow the speed of the game down to make it realistc statistically (best players get 30 odd touches) and score wise so that people who want to can do something like every week they play the team they supports match on full length quarters with fully realistic stats and scores

Whilst we are on the subject of on the back of the box, how might one "ride every bump", in fact, how might one bump at all?

Honestly, this is the most bloody frustrating experience.
On one hand, I can see a Fifa quality AFL game at the finish, on the other I can see an underachieving what could have been AFL game at the end.

Time will tell.

They'll probably need a second or third iteration of this base game to get it to a simulation standard.

On top of fixing the bugs and movement, the contested play mechanics needs a lot of work. Too many 1v1 marks, 95% ending in a mark either way, there's no fumbling the ball, there's no pack marking, and the wrestling marks are all static with nothing to do other than press Y, no real fighting to get into the right position, sometimes a third man can come in to spoil or specky, that's about it.

Need to incorporate compatable mechanics from their previous Rugby League Live, and Lacrosse games, too, ie collisions, advanced tackling mechanics. Would also like to see the rotating player on the spot after a mark from their 2011 AFL game come back into this.

I think I read they were gonna introduce quick select tactics in this, would also like to be able to custom position players, eFootball has that, not sure if FIFA does?

If you feel this way, may as just hit the ignore button on BA, he may have already done the same to you. He ignores you, you ignore him and won’t see his post and It’s a win win situation for all parties.
 
This game has me so close to breaking my controller, I have to take a break until the bugs are ironed out. I cannot fathom how the stuck in the mud issues are still plagueing the gameplay. The handballs going opposite to where you point. Your players run away from a loose ball 10 metres away. The friendly and opposition AI is so disgustingly frustrating. I cannot do it much longer. I am trying to support this game but I need more BA

I don't care if he has ignored me. I want him to answer the questions of the poor guys who have come on here to ask a question, but a drowned out by all the noise. If I ignore him how will I know if he's changed :relieved:
 
Thanks to the poster/s who shared this here, I can confirm the following is true on the current patch -

  • pretty much everything is more effective when you're not applying a modifier, esp sprinting.
  • this applies especially to the combo of handballing and sprinting - I suspect this is a mechanic BA are going for but it's a little extreme at the moment. If you sprint there is little if any ball control and you are much less likely to dispose of the ball when tackled, slow it down and you're controlling the ball like the AI. You are only really in trouble if you don't have anyone to pass it to within 10m, which is rare.

I went from winning ~70% of games on medium to keeping the opponent pretty much scoreless, just like that. Granted the harder difficulties could be completely different but if you're a nuffy like me struggling along give these tips a try.

The radar shouldn't be there in set shots right? But yes, you can't turn it off and I'm pretty sure one or two other options in that same menu don't work either. I don't send tickets for those things because it's pretty obvious if you play for 2 mins, so surely the team knows already. Same as the set shot goal kicking meter not disappearing and covering the radar during general play that you guys are aware of.

RE: I'm still not impressed with the directional movement by way of when having ball in hand. Hand passing is limited to up, down, left or right (same with ruck contest aiming). I'd love to be able to aim DIAGONALLY and have the ball travel in that direction.

You can kick diagonally once you move the player there.
 
Do you know anyone that could help get them into the game along with team monograms and sponsors?

Editing graphics for games isn't my forte sadly, I was just commenting how the lower leagues don't differentiate much on AFL teams/mascots and logos.

I'm sure someone might assist if you ask nicely!
 
Is it just me or does play now play differently to a management mode, no wind in management mode and the game is more freely played in play now 🤷🏼‍♂️

Haven’t played since early Saturday morning but thought it was a bit of a congested tackle test then.
Hopefully that’s changed
