More reasons to employ the almighty Chuckinho
Man can get shit done!

You’ll probably get a answer sooner rather than later if you actually go through the correct channels. Support.bigant.com, a lot of posters here have gotten response to feature requests and questions posted there And you are probably not on the ignore list there lol

I daresay that if the boss man is refusing point blank to answer questions on management mode, the word has gone out and the poor bastards fielding all the support tickets aren't about to give us all a heads up.

Nothing but respect for those guys, but they'll have enough on their plate dealing with bugs.

But if I have a question on the academy or slowing the game down or goal kicking meters I'll flick them a message.

One thing I’ll say about this is that, this is a internet forum whereas ‘support’ is a site set up by big ant for the general public to submit questions and request for. I would hope that makes a difference and sometimes it is better and things can be said if things are done via the proper channels, like there is a reason and purpose it has been set up in the first place.

Not wrong mate. Have provided plenty of feedback to them regarding management mode bugs and ideas. They have always responded within a week saying it's being taken on board and sent to the right people. I just don't think it's a support teams job to tell us what's going to be put into the game.

Would've thought the CEO watching this thread would have enough care and respect to their gamerbase to respond to such queries. Especially when everything in the last 2 months has been a slap in the face to his consumers

Whilst we are on the subject of on the back of the box, how might one "ride every bump", in fact, how might one bump at all?

Honestly, this is the most bloody frustrating experience.
On one hand, I can see a Fifa quality AFL game at the finish, on the other I can see an underachieving what could have been AFL game at the end.

Time will tell.

The game honestly could be anything, it could be really great. I’m not sure after what happened day 1 that it’ll get to the levels it was anticipated but if we can get a game that has more depth than it has right now and a few more fixes I’ll live.
I hope they get another opportunity to make one and improve and get that chance at redemption from this launch.
The potential is there but I think too much has gone pear shaped to 100% recover this version!

The bump is dead according to the MRP :p

I've had a weird experience with the tackle function, after a few patches yes we are landing them more often... but sometimes the weak control of the player means we can't always get close enough to "tackle". I had a really good tackle where the impact reminded me a lot of Roughead on Hannebery back in the 2014 grand final (the crunch!). While it wasn't an exact replica of the real life event, it was pretty close and it came out of nowhere. Didn't think I'd get the tackle going, but I did, and WHAM.

Oh good lord! Those poor bastards!
Would love to get Portarlington or Anakie to beat Geelong 🙊

Let me take control of the team, I'll get it done (and probably by a few hundred points :p)

I would argue that’s more the Support Team’s role than the CEO’s.

Maybe normally. But in this case the CEO is happy to respond to people who ask certain questions and argue with consumers online if their questions are too hard or criticise his game. The support team are in place to support gamers who suffer issues, not provide game updates.

Normally there would be a communication team for a game/company, not in this case though. Ross is the only form of communication regarding AFL 23 and he for sure isn't doing a good job of it.

I can understand the frustration if your question isn’t being answered… but him being on here at all is better than what I’ve seen for most other games.

But still… if the question isn’t being answered here… no harm in also asking via the Support Team.
And if the response is along the lines of ‘that’s given us something to think about’… it’s probably more likely to be assessed for the next game (AFL24?)… not in the current game + patch.
And that might be tough for some to accept.

Look at this point him being here is causing more issues than answering questions. Wouldn't really care if he stopped coming here bc he's just looked to argue with people instead of answering questions. Had a gutfull to be honest.

Guys. Ross has said numerous times we will know everything that needs to be known before launch. He just never specified it was the Xbox launch. Now we know so you can relax.

Keen for the back of the box of the Xbox version to just be a list of modes and features. Something like this but in garish Xbox green:
