He is, however, a Hawthorn fan so he provided a sour look as I was leaving.

I've learnt my lesson trying to book tickets to the G this season. Never call ticketek. I'd rather wait 90 min in line and ensure my tickets then listen to an engaged tone all day.

Carlton have had a lot of trouble clearing the ball from defense. I think we might play a little higher up the ground this week than we have done the last few weeks. Carlton very prone to turning it over in the back half so the pressure must go on them - Hooper maybe.

My major concern is all the injuries. With Black and Drummond joining Adcock, Merrett and Bradshaw on teh injury list things are a little precarious.

As much as I enjoyed Carlton's whipping on the weekend, they'll regain Betts and Garlett this Saturday, and they'll be a different prospect.

We need to heap pressure on Carlton's defence and midfield, otherwise they're capable of scoring quickly.

Just got back from the Gabba - spent over an hour in a 50m line outside Gate 2, with only three windows serving. In past years, they had at least 10 or 12 tables set up inside the club and selling.

However, have my tickets, so happy!

If neither of Bradshaw or Merrett end up being fit I don't think I would be able to put any money on us winning so fingers crossed. If Black is out then I expect Rich will cop the heavy tag and will have a quiet game and then it will be us reacting to them getting the clearances.

Maybe.... TJ and Harding could become September specialists

We cannot win without blacky fullstop so i am in no doubt we have to play polks and redds on the ball from the first bounce they r our future engine room.
I can live without big guns being out and even rog as i would have played patfull on fevola but blacky is the same as brown and now mitch we cannot win without them.
As for drummo he just frustrates the hell out of me everytime we need him he is out with soft tissue injuries and the word is he did it kicking the ball which is his grestest skil for f...'s sake

Don't ever bother ringing to book tickets. Go to the local suburban outlets, at least that way you get to take the tickets with you! I heard that if you purchase the tickets over the phone you still have to queue up on game day at Gate 2 to collect them. What a nightmare! The wait at Kedron was only about 30 mins, would be less than that now. Each ticket purchased has to be a separate transaction, so it does take a while but you're only charged one service fee. At Chermside they announced that you could only pay by cash or credit, not EFTPOS! That caused a few problems.
