Tom Scully has now been in two more Academy games than he should've been!

McKercher, H. Reid and Patton my standouts so far. Simpson, Cleary, Stevens, Philactides (first quarter), Hardeman and Walters are guys that I've noticed have worked really hard consistently even if not getting a tonne of it/ looking too flashy.

Can we please get Delean and Wilson off the wing and into the forward line, and Lorenz in the guts =)

I'm quite surprised at how built Moir is. A real good frame but doesn't look to be an overly powerful type? I haven't seen much of him in general and in a scrappy game hard to show his class which is meant to be his main weapon.

Reid and McKercher have been the clear standouts. Patton, Cleary, and Delean have shone through at times, and Jake Rogers has looked pretty clean with the ball in hand, especially when he set up that Reid snap from the pocket.

Nah, hide Lorenz so he can slide to right around the Dogs' first pick

Looking forward to it. Hope my 7month old lets me watch it lol.

This has a chance to be pretty close and it’s there for the academies taking if they want the win.

Our magpies side is terribly unbalanced with a tonne of young tall developing rucks and kfs, and all our good young mids bar sinn, whose coming back from the dreaded OP are already in the afl side so it’s not a very good midfield at all.

Also, our best young ruck who has dominated this level for years is sharing the ruck with 2 other guys now as the coaches want to see them so hes not in his best (and really only) position for the majority of the game.

And a lot of watchers outside of Sa may not know this, but port and crows are not allowed to fill out the rest of our reserves teams with sanfl level players, only amateurs bar the 1 “marquee” player (Sutcliffe for us)
Marquee, not Georgiades? Sutcliffe is ordinary.

How many AFL listed players for Port in this game?
