Had an excellent season with West Perth in the WAFL Colts, averaging 21.5 disposals and 6.2 marks to earn selection in the Team of the Year and was promoted to play two games at senior level late in the season. Showed some potential playing all four matches for Western Australia in the National Championships, averaging 12.5 disposals and nine hitouts, while also kicking five goals. Ranked sixth for the agility test at the national Draft Combine with a time of 8.08 seconds, which was outstanding for a player of his size.
6th for agility. eDPS please tell me that's as impressive as it sounds.

Biography

Medium defender who excels in the air to intercept opposition forward thrusts and provides consistent rebound with his pinpoint kicking. Impressed for South Australia at the National Championships, averaging 17 disposals at 79 per cent efficiency, and was among his team’s best players against the Allies and Victoria Country. Played 10 games at under-18 level for Glenelg, where he averaged 16.7 disposals and five marks. His endurance and competitiveness were outstanding at the Draft Combine, with his 2km time trial effort of 6:16 in challenging windy conditions ranked third overall. Commuted weekly from the family farm at Mt Gambier to pursue his football goals.
Like the sound of endurance and competitiveness. Sounds like we are picking for needs (with gerreyn being a good contested grab).

Like the long term strategy.

Next year with top 5 pick, elite goal kicking mid and then key fwd with later 1st round pick.

Every other pick should be speed and foot skills.

They must rate Kayle very highly to burn a top 40 pick on a ruck, unless they view him as a forward.
That 13sec clip they showed looks like he'll be the best ruckman to ever play the game.

“Angus Clarke is a medium-sized defender who can play on an opponent, and can also play off an opponent. He has a really high game IQ, a bit like Mason Redman which is ironic because they’re both from the same area in Australia.”
