What does everyone think...
Wanganeen or Luke Hodge?

Also, my three cheapest forwards as Dempster, Franklin and Sylvia. If I dump Sylvia I have $168,800 left to play with. Any suggestions for a forward in this price range?

I went with Luke Hodge, purely on potential. Hoping he might fulfill it this year.

Forwards

Fiora $164,500
Mark Stevens $156,100 (Had first full pre-season for years, looks good)
Adam Schnieder $155,600
Jarrad Waite $152,100
John Barker $136,900
Chris Ladhams $126,600

All reasonable pick ups.

Thoughts...??

Have traded Edwards for McPhee, and then Thurstans for Fevola with the extra cash i had.

Last year was a million times better than this year.....too simple this year, not tactical enuff, too heavily weighted on picking gun players and not using ur head of pick potential guns....tripe...but I'll still do it.

Is it good having my best 22 players worth 200.000 + other then 1 in my starting 22 and only have 1 or 2 alright players in my seconds ..... Injuries if that happens i have nothing....

grr
thats why it is good to be able to trade every round, if u get an injury, just trade him for another player...and usually injuries happen in games, like last yr wen goodes hurt his knee, he was in my team and he got something like 2 points or close to that, so my emergency didnt get used!!!

Why do you have your worst players in the starting 22.

ive been wrestling with rucks for quite some time. the problem has been there is nothing that interests me below $200k. recently ive decided to go a premium in ling (huge scorer) and 2 reasonable premiums that are around the 260k mark, i then have gardiner and francou like the rest of australia. having those 2 'mid- premiums' im trying to by-pass the lack of depth in the ruck section because if i went say another 300k then i would have 100k to spend on someone who offers little to my side.

with centers if gone pretty much top shelf with 3 top liners and goodwin and another player around the $150k mark (dont want to say who) as back up. actually, that brings me to another point. last year did anyone else 'cheat' and deliberatly name a guy who they knew wasnt going to play, knowing that they had an emergency who was scoring well. i have selected a guy for my bench on the centres who im going to use for this. its a risk but if you name 2 emergencies who are not going to play then that one 'quality' emergency comes in. thats why i have a guy who is $150k on my bench.

Exactly my thinkings. Ive also got a fairly expensive player on my bench. There are flaws in the selection system and u can exploit them surprisingly well if you're willing to sit down down for about 4 hours straight and think it all out.

Worth it in the end thats for sure.
