I've got him in my team, may have some bad games, but in his good games he should score very highly. He's probably the best forward under $500K (along with Rob Murphy and Longmuir).

Why would you put Smith as a Centre instead of a Back? There are plenty of good cheap Centres, not many good cheap Backmen.

Your team is hugely speculative? Could work but could backfire completely if all these players you think will improve dramatically all stay at the same level they have been at or get injured again

i like the new format, bar the new bloody scoring system. Changes the whole game and really annoys me to be honest. But the money system makes it challenging now, as opposed to last year... should be interesting tho.

I would probly trade down on of the rucks and improve one of the 3rd-6th forwards ie Guerra/ Motop.

Also, I think you have too many tall defenders ie McGregor, Harley, Miller and Roughy. I would get a small instead of 1-2 of them.

Looks the Goods. When your emergencies or reserves play mor than 3 games thier price will increase. By rounds 10-15 you'll have an unstopable team

They won't increase enough to be able to trade them straight out for a decent player though. You would need to make 2 trades to take advantage of the increase and when you only have 20 trades for 22 rounds that is a big price to pay.

What you need to do is get the 250-400k players whose value has the potential to increase with a nice mix of consistent premium players. You then trade the bolters for a proven premium DT player still in their prime (i.e. not Buckley, Ricciuto etc) that has a rough start to the year.

That is the only way I can see to play it if you want to win the competition besides having the flukiest ever run with injuries imaginable.
