Perhaps you should recount using different numbers Tazza. I used those solely because it was convenient for my team. Remember there is a BIG difference between 260 and 360.

See that looks a lot more balanced . It's all kinda redundant anyway, the players themselves are more important than their price tags .

Why would you waste a precious trade upgrading to Chad after three rounds? Are you seriously saying one of your players is going to earn $50,000+ after three rounds?

After three years at this game, I've come around to the EDT thinking on this issue. Premiums and rookies, that's where it's at. Chuck in one or two mid-price improvers per position, but no more.

do the EDT people usually have 8 bench players playing every week from the start or do they start with 4 around 83,000 and 4 around 70,000?

Is a Maric/Simmonds ruck combo on the field 2 crazy/hopeful? Esp with biglands down I get the feeling that ppl on the crows board think hes ahead of griffin and tippett.

I will again bring up the subject of Travis Johnstone. He is a sublime player to watch but moving to Brisbane poses two main problems in his selection for me:

1) Brisbane already has a well established midfield, Black, Power, Adcock, Stiller etc.

2) Brisbane already has a rebounding defender in drummond who also has excellent disposal.

I just dont no where Johnstone is gonna play and thats wat is worrying me the most. I would esp h8 for him 2 be used off the bench cos it is such a waste of his immense talent. Thoughts?

Jolldo, HE: I wouldn't buy any of the 70k players. By the rules of the game they aren't allow to play unless another teammate is placed on the long term injury list.

Is Biglands' injury long term? I was under the impression that he'd only be out for a couple of months? It could certainly work, it could blow up in your face. How much is Maric? I'll be going with the similarly crazy combo of Simmonds and Laycock. Just hope that you are making the right gamble.

They don't have every bench player starting in round 1, no. Not many rookies, though.

Wow, that sucks, well good luck to him, and Adelaide . Oh, another query, I read 10-20 pages back someone was asking how Biglands' injury would effect Douglas and Reilly. I don't quite get how they'd be affected, but I currently plan on having them both, so some insight would be handy. Cheers.

300k+ = 4
250k+ = 2
200k+ = 6
150k+ = 2
<150k = 8(bench)

so most of my team come in the 200-250k bracket and 350-400k bracket

Monty, I took your advice about starting rookies on the field and made a new team.

Now I have 2 rookies starting on the ground which freed up a ton of money to upgrade project players to guns
