my last team im making before actual comes out gone for a gun backline and forward line.Midfield has potential and with quality young subs there on bench hopefully can stand up

That team is at about an equal quality to your standard of postings

Personally, i am concerned with starting Palmer at the moment. He seems to drift outside the packs, waiting for a freo clearence, which means if freo isn't playing well, he isn't going to either (fluctuating scores). Also he didn't get much TOG tonight, not really a good sign for the home and away season is it? What do other people starting or contimplating starting Rhys think?

ROb Murphy or Barry Hall or Warren Tredrea? Apparentally Tredders knee is much better and hes had a very good pre season, Hall kicked 4 in a half playing on Thurstans so he had a competant player on him and Murphy looks much better 2 years on from his reco

Lovett-Murray or Newman?

Leaning towards Lovett-Murray as he should be given more time in the midfield.

Thoughts GS, XIsDonisGoodX, RT, theone5, andrew22..? :D

Newman. There's just no place like the Richmond backline for DT.

Speaking of which, I know he looked ordinary first up but could Jordy Mc improve from low 70s to mid 80s with the switch?

Even pre-knee Murphy's only had 1 year averaging over 76 (83 in "05)

You clearly haven't done the research

I take it youd be leaning towards Tredders. I am definately keen to pick one of Hall or Tredrea but i dont know if I cant trust their body's to stand up for the year, however if they did with good preseasons under their belts i cant see them averaging below 80, especially Hall as he is Sydneys go to man

Currently have Goodes in my team with around $44K left over. Does NE1 think its worth upgrading him to a Cross/Stanton or keep the cash.

I think Goodes looks great value this year with the extended break and a quality pre-season, i know everyone says that he starts slow but his preseason this year is nothing like his last few......may come out guns blazin from rnd 1.

How good is Scotty Thompson, he will be up their with J.Bartel this year IMO,,,,,god i wish they left him as a fwd...
Goodes looked very good last night. I wouldn't necessarily assume he will start slow. He is a bargain price and you know he can score with anyone. I would have no problem with taking him and banking the 44K to use later.

Does the fact Sydeny play 7 home games at the SCG make any1 think it will impact on Goodes scoring potential? SCG is notorious for low scores because it is so tiny i cant barely remember a player scoring about 85 in any of the games there last year...

What are you expecting from Tredders this season?, do you see something in him? I want some proof and reasons to why you think he can bring back some old form

He has missed only 1 training session and says his knee feels 400% better... it may be an exageration but the guy can score massive if his body enables him to mvoe well... also will be the main focal point in attack unless Chad moves in because i cant see any other port fowards demanding the ball in the air

yeah i dont see any reason to picking him?

Well lets say even if he avgs 75 thats still going to get u almost 100K u can use to sell him and then upgrade to another player... its not about the team u start with but the team u end up with and Tredders is guaranteed a spot in the power team and should get plenty of opportunity for someone who is around that price

Dream Team is opening tomorrow isn't it? No?

I'm pretty sure it is, we got the info from an sen caller who told us it would open on the 25th (also correctly say that SC would open on the 18th) and a few other posters said that they emailed/rung the website and it would open tommorrow

Lets hope it does:thumbsu:

Swan4Brownlow pretty much summed up why I rate Tredders this season, the only reason I wouldn't have him in my team come round 1 would be if he injuries himself again

For a 2 Back/1 Forward combo would you prefer:

S Fisher, C Newman, N Thompson

OR

G Johncock, R Hayden, J Porplyzia/A Didak (either)

Anyone bothered to make an opinion, please do. :thumbsu:
