Haha maybe im just a bit less trusting than you are but i don't see why they would 'make sure' if everything was ok. It has been reported that he has knee tendonities that only hampers him when he tries to kick the ball 50m+ but still if there is something wrong then surely it has the potential to get worse and impact upon his performance if he does play. Ideally you want all the guns you select to be entering the season cherry ripe and not under and clouds. By the way, whats this with Stevens?

Riewoldt missed the first two games last year from memory and that really stuffed me up. It was a waste of a trade to bring him back into my team. I hate that!!!!!!!!! When your guns are under a cloud it makes or a nervous start to the year.

Stevens has had scans on his neck. It's an ongoing thing he does as part of his recovery from his operation. The fact that he walked laps today means that something is up. I wouldn't expect him to play Friday against the Dogs. Although I could be proven wrong, which I hope.

I just realised that next Monday is a public holiday here in Victoria (Labour Day). All things point to it opening then.

Jones will take his game to the next level next year imo. With all the attention in the middle going to the likes of Mclean, Bruce and Mcdonald he will rack em up. Gets heaps of tackles aswell which is a big bonus for DT.
