It took them long enough to get it up you think they would be able to get it right.
I'm sure most people would use the colours of the team they support. So it is a fair request.

Hey mate I've said it before, but I'll say it again. You'll always have the edge of AFL live stats and now AFL live DT stats simply because you provide game notes about players running hot/cold/injured/reported.

Plus knowing the AFL they'll make it way over the top and flashy with all the bells and whistles that make it lag lag lag. FanFooty - simple layout, straight to the point and fast.

More to the point, I believe the DT live scores will only update every 180 seconds, as opposed to FanFooty which is every 30 seconds. And I have more confidence in our ability to stay online than I do in VirtualSports.

How do you register for the eliminator? Are you simply put in if your inside the first 130 000 to sign up or do you have to follow some process?

Teams usually get posted around 7.30pm. When they are all in I post a feature on the front page, it is the one with the photo next to it.

I'll be logging on to the FF one and I would ask everyone who respects the work M0nty has done, this year and in the past, to use FF as well. I have no doubt that the introduction of live stats is at least in some way, an attempt to take FF business.
I would rather M0nty gets the 'hits' (which translates into ca$h) than Bigpond/AFL/VirtualSports. The fanplanner has been open for weeks and the AFL opend 1 week before the season. Who deserves your respect?

obviously we'll probably get to see final team lists for geelong carlton port and richmond, but wat about the other games, will we be able to see at least squads for the other matchs in time before lockout?

Haha, yer, my inital thoughts also, I only started making my team yesterday because I was running out of time waiting for it to open. Much more of a challenge, maybe a 2000 score will look good this season.

The team you want will come together eventually (even though you will be changing it a thousand more times before lockout).
