Back to business, struggling with my last forward spot. It is between Vince, Jetta and Rioli.

Vince has had a great pre-season (pretty good pre-season last year also IIRC as a rookie), not sure if he has cemented a 22 spot yet but it seems he is very very close. If he played IMO he would score roughly 50-60, is that being generious?

Jetta has lots of ability and had played pretty well throughout the pre-season, again not sure of his status in the bombers 22 but maybe the Al.Davey of this year? Again i would say 50-60 for him.

Rioli, Hawthorn need that crumbing forward to put pressure when the ball hits the ground. Like Jetta, tackles alot and doesn't need the ball a hell of a lot to get a good score. Just worried about starting him, rookie. He is 60 - 80k cheaper than the other two so i can upgrade else where or keep the cash, not sure what he will score, probably around 40-50?

Sorry for rambling on just having a little trouble but at the moment i like Jetta. By the way if i get one of the first two, Rioli is on the bench.
I would pick rioli as i see him as the only round 1 starter and only player out of the 3 capable of holding his own.

Thanks fellas.

Hey mate I've said it before, but I'll say it again. You'll always have the edge of AFL live stats and now AFL live DT stats simply because you provide game notes about players running hot/cold/injured/reported.

Plus knowing the AFL they'll make it way over the top and flashy with all the bells and whistles that make it lag lag lag. FanFooty - simple layout, straight to the point and fast.

All the cheapies are in the midfield and so are many of the premiums. What's a good balance? At the moment I only have 2 premiums there if that.

Now that my team is in I have one question?

What would you guys do. Start Proud and upgrade Bacher to Stanton

Or have Proud on bench and start gilbee/Waters/Mcleod

PS also the first option leave 100K in the bank which I like to have in reserve

What would classify as a premium?? 400K+??

A premium is someone you want to be there at the end. Nick Stevens, for me, is a premium. The whole price thing makes it easy to quantify but I think it's players who you pick not really thinking about the cash - you want their points from start to finish. Nathan Jones would be touch and go though.

Maybe a gun would be 400k+.

At the moment I have 4 very cheap guys in the 100-250 bracket.

1 Player 400K+
3 Players 300-399K
2 Players 200-299K

Thats how my mids are going, i reckon there are a ton of almost-there 300K-380ish players who are bargains, just have to pick the right ones

The tool that I am, I made a league for friends then my other friend made a league and i also entered that. Now i can't get rid of the 1st league i made. Little help required.

I guess that because of the 3 leagues-1 team thing you have the same team entered in both leagues? If not you can leave one/all players out of the one you don't want and it will turf you when the lockout starts.

If it is the same team in each one though, you might be stuck with it. Maybe invite some people with big mouths from here and towell them up for 22 rounds!!:thumbsu:

I think it's more about where you see the value than specific balance. IMO the value this year sits in Mids 150K - 300K so that's who I'll pick. By the same token, I see little value in the backs in this range so will steer clear.

Unless your player will average over 80 (hold all year) you would really only choose him because he will increase his average by 20 ppw which equates to just under 90K in cash.
