HELL NO! get out of my gauranteed $$ :p
Seriously though, its immoral and stripping you of your dignity and self worth. :thumbsu:

I went with Essendon, keeping my dignity.
I do ot even know if you get a pirze for it this year?
I can not find it anywhere.
I think it is just overall weekly?

Good point about the Darwin game.
Although, I'd just love to see *something* from him before I select him. Hard to believe he (or any player) can just start producing 50+ scores at the drop of a hat.

I don't think Lachy is ready to be a regular this season. Has better DT scoring potential than S.Thompson but if you are looking for a cash cow, I'd go for Thommo. He should play rnd 1 and I could see him staying in the side for the bulk of the season averaging mid 40s-low 50s.

Hansen was good against the dogs in the NAB Cup but the other three matches, he hardly got any game time. Maybe Laidley doesn't see Lachy as a regular yet?

As for McMahon/Harding, steer clear, McMahon is not a DTer and not much value at his current price while Harding will play more VFL games than AFL ones.

Hey guys,

Just a quick one to finish off an all but settled team...

Simmonds and a rookie forward starting i.e. Rioli, Gamble, Tippet, Hansen (depending who plays)

VS

Wood and Thompson, Dew, Jetta, Vince

If the second option, who would you guys look at for that last forward spot, I was leaning towards Vince but don't know if he'll cement a spot in the team. Thompson is the certain one to play but I can't see him setting the world on fire.

Cheers.

I reckon Wood will end up averaging higher than Simmonds so second option. Thompson is the safest option, won't average any less than the rookies.

I think you're seriously underrating Simmonds. He was/ and is one of the elite ruckman in terms of DT. He'll be this year's Adcock, if you want a comparison of how he'll go this year.

I think Wood will do well this year but i'll expect him to average something close 60. I might be a bit generous, though.

I agree that Simmonds has the higher ceiling...but he is so damn brittle. He just looks like falling apart whenver I see him

Prismall would have to be the best player in the league not be able to get in to their teams starting 22. Let him in Bomber! I want cheap and nasty Dt points.

Good chance him getting a game with Wojcinski getting an injury, but TOG is the only worry.

Good chance indeed, but I would have thought James Kelly would be next in line to play that role. Corey, Ablett, Enright, Kelly, Selwood, Bartel and sometimes the likes of Ling and Chappy. Wouldn't they be ahead?

Prismall is a gun... but the other Geelong midfielders are jets.
He is the riskiest sure thing going around in that he will definately do well. Unfortunately you need an oppurtunity to do well.

Well the only thing going for us in terms of Prismall is the fact that we'll know for sure whether or not he's in the Round 1 side.
If he is then he's a very strong possiblity for my side.

Yeah, I still can't see who's going to make way for him, but if he does, then I'll be in Rnd 1 too. Having someone with his ability at the 200k mark will certainly make things easier elsewhere. However, there is a certain someone else in that same price range who is just as good as well as Nick Stevens. Makes it hard to fit in rookies.

I know what you mean!
If Prismall is named, I will take him. But then there's also the player you are referring to and also Dyson, who are all basically $200-210k. I think Dyson would be the "safest" option of the three.

Ahh come on mate spill the beans!

It's not that hard egg... your a top 100 finisher you can do it :D

Haha im struggling

Think my balls have grown very big this year, im contemplating starting Prismal, Dyson, Stevens and Houli.....massive risk but thats one that i might have to take to finish top 100 again.

You obviously don't have your sights set on winning the ELIMINATOR!!
That is a ridiculous risk!

A few big changes and a few small changes this year, all of which i like:

1) Eliminator League {more fun and more to play around with}. 10/10

2) Our team scores are live and currenly updated {saves us time adding it up ourselves}. 10/10

3) You can rank your league based on Points For. 10/10

4) You can enter 3 leagues this year. 9/10

5) Vice Captain {more things to think about which makes the game more competitive}. 8/10

6) You can not win any weekly prizes for being the highest ranked coach for the club you support for that given week {that is good for me because it is so damn hard to win a prize barracking for Essendon seeing as though we had the most players registered last year}. 7/10

7) You can view your team either through a "graphical" or "statistical" view {this does not really interest me but it is still good}. 4/10

8) New prizes {even though the cash is more enticing, i need a new car and this one looks unbelieveable}. 2/10

On top of that, player pricing seems fair (no mistakes like J.Adcock last year) and the positions are even more accurate than last year i.e Giansiracusa as a forward, Carrazzo as a midfielder, etc, etc.

Have i missed anything?

Eh they should all go up in value so long as they play. If your research indicates they will play CA-CHING!
