If we are starting him, how do we know whether or not he is going to play thus meaning to sub him off for lets say a bench play in Myers?

Just set up a backs emergency you know is playing from another team. If Proud doesn't play, emergency does.

You would still start him, but put someone like myers as an emergency

Sunday teams are usually announced before 6pm Friday anyway, but if your some reason you can't find that info, select an emergency in defence.

More player news from the west.

Fremantle's coach Harvey virtually all but confirmed Palmers selection. He also indicated that the selection panel is also looking at Ibbotson. According to Freo's mail, Fraser at Collingwood has some sort of a niggle which could possibly keep him out of round 1 and also Didak apparently failed to train.

Interview with Worsfold will be on next so will be interesting what he has to say.

There is always alot of talk about the 400k midfielders like cross, stanton hayes and priddis but never much about kerr. He is a proven performer even when tagged (Ling being the exception).

He is a tackle machine, gets heaps of free kicks, far more reliable than a hayes who has had some major injuries. There was no cousins last year and judd was not the number 1 tagged player, why is there little confidence in him?

Kerr looks fit to go round one, however, they are still going to test his right leg and kicking long as that's the only thing he hasn't done yet after that hammy injury.

Ebert and Selwood have impressed, however, no word about round 1 selection, but reading into Wooshas tone of voice I would say they will not be selected. With regards to Masten again he didn't give anything away but he did say that he Masten is ready made player and has had a good pre season. I got the impression that Masten is not without a chance for round 1.

Kennedy also looking good and Woosha thinks he will become a really good player.

The way i see it - Play more then 1 rookie and you're in trouble. I hate playing any rookies in general. I'm pretty much forced to play 1 this season though, going with Rioli. Had Nathan Thompson sitting in the forward line at 170K, personally i cant see him averaging more then about 65 this season, took him out and put in C.Rioli, free's up about 100K cash and if Rioli plays atleast 10 games and averages atleast 50-55 then he's done his job for me

Some people just start rookies because they think they need to, about 90% of teams i 've seen posted on here have 1 rookie starting in Backs/Centres/Forwards. It's just stupid, you'll go nowhere with that.

the ONLY way youre going to get anywhere is to play some rookies the first few rounds. it's all very well having a "balanced" team - but it's not going to get you into the top 100

The dreamteam eliminator what a marvelous idea. This is almost worth more than winning the whole thing to win this. However it is not seen price wise and i feel that Toyota have gone cheap with just 5000 in price money. It should of been a car or 20k any ppl feel similar??

im not sure y everyone is obssessing over 'who will step up in the eagles midfield'
not a single person has said that perhaps the total output from the eagles midfield could possibly decrease rather then some average players filling in for some superstars who are no longer there
the idea that the eagles midfield wont be as strong seems a lot more logical

Um...yes, OK. Perhaps we can interpret me asking who will become the Eagle's permanent midfielder in place of Judd and switch-in for Kerr when he's injured as something which required the names of listed Eagles players (such as replied later by normal people, thank you) instead of some request for a totally random ranting.
